Cheryl revealed a drastic transformation as she performed Brighton Pride with Girls Aloud – and we’re mesmerised by her stunning new locks.

Ever since the singer first found fame on Popstars: The Rivals and went on to become a judge on The X Factor, she’s typically rocked her signature dark brunette hair.

However, she’s now gone for a bubblegum pink style, revealing the big change while singing her heart out with her girl group following their 2024 tour.

Joining Nadine Coyle, Kimberley Walsh and Nicola Roberts on stage, Cheryl’s new pink tresses reached all the way down to her waist.

The hair transformation wasn’t the only bold part of the 41-year-old’s look, as she also wore a dazzling gold bodysuit, complete with 80-esque shoulder pads, for the spectacular performance.

Cheryl wasn’t the only member of Girls Aloud to rock a new hair colour, as Kimberley, 42, decided to go for a bold shade of purple.

Nadine, 39, on the other hand, stuck to her usual honey-toned blonde, as Nicola, 41, also kept her signature auburn shade.

Fans were absolutely raving over Cheryl’s pink transformation, with Rand writing on X: ‘Oh, Chezza, babs, you didn’t have to gag us like this.’

‘I’ve passed out,’ Carly wrote dramatically, while Amy added: ‘She suits it SO much 😍.’

Elly hailed Cheryl and Kimberley for both trying out new looks, stating: ‘As if we got pink haired Cheryl and purple haired Kimberley, life will never be the same.’

Meanwhile, Brooke lamented not being in the audience, writing: ‘You mean Cheryl’s got pink hair for pride and I’m not there?’

A couple of week’s before Brighton Pride, Girls Aloud shared their excitement over performing at the joyous event, writing in an Instagram post: ‘We are so excited to bring something new to Brighton Pride this August with our spectacular, UK festival exclusive show.

‘We can’t wait to see you there. Love Cheryl, Kimberley, Nadine and Nicola xxxx.’

The group recently embarked on the biggest UK arena tour of the year, performing in honour of their late friend and band member Sara Harding, who died in 2021 at the age of 39 after being diagnosed with breast cancer.

Their tour, which consisted of their biggest hits, concluded in June, before a one-off special performance at Shepherd’s Bush Empire in July ahead of Brighton Pride the following month.
