I’m 61 and found the ultimate Tesco airport outfit to wear en route your summer holidays AND it can be styled three ways

A 61-YEAR-OLD fashion influencer has showcased her current leopard print obsession from Tesco.

But thanks to her keen eye for fashion, her tips can be followed by women of all ages.

Dalyte has recently jumped on the leopard print trend after finding a “fabulous set” in her local Tesco’s F&F section.

From Coronation Street’s iconic barmaid Bet Lynch to Spice Girl Mel B, animal print has been an iconic look on our screens, runways and the high street for decades.

It reared its stylish head again towards the end of last year and has shown no signs of slowing down as we glide through summer.

Leopard print comes with a whole lot of history and is a catwalk favourite for a reason.

But you don’t have to be a supermodel – or have the bank balance of one – to get involved in the trend.

Dalyte’s new leopard print set costs just £28 for both pieces – or £14 for the top or trousers individually.

“I would say it’s a great summer co-ord set that can be worn as a travel outfit to a summer holiday destination,” she tells Fabulous.

“However, it can be styled differently with different bottoms and tops, as per my video.

“I would put a high emphasis on good quality and affordability, which I try to highlight to my audience.

“Style does not have to be expensive.

“I love F&F for this reason.”

Dalyte wears both pieces as the co-ord and styles the look with a black shoulder bag and black pointed-toe heels.

Another styling option she shared was pairing the floaty trousers with the same accessories and an off-shoulder black blouse.

Her third variation was pairing the loose-fitting top with a black maxi skirt, ballet pumps and straw-detail handbag.

“It’s so fab,” Dalyte added.

“There’s so many ways to style it.”

Is supermarket fashion the new high street?

DEPUTY Fashion Editor Abby McHale weighs in:

The supermarkets have really upped their game when it comes to their fashion lines. These days, as you head in to do your weekly food shop you can also pick up a selection of purse-friendly, stylish pieces for all the family.
Tesco has just announced a 0.7 per cent increase in the quarter thanks to a ‘strong growth in clothing’ and M&S has earnt the title of the number one destination for womenswear on the high street.
Asda’s clothing line George has made £1.5 million for the supermarket in 2023, 80 per cent of Sainsbury’s clothes sold at full price rather than discounted and Nutmeg at Morrisons sales are also up 2 per cent in the past year.
So what is it about supermarket fashion that is becoming so successful?
Apart from the clothing actually being affordable, it’s good quality too – with many being part of schemes such as the Better Cotton Initiative.
A lot of the time they keep to classic pieces that they know will last the customer year after year.
Plus because they buy so much stock they can turn around pieces quickly and buy for cheaper because of the volumes.
