The top is usually £20 but is on sale
And it’s the perfect transitional piece to take you from summer into autumn – just chuck on a trench coat over it.
The pretty bow top is usually priced at £20 but is currently in the sale for a tenner.
Sainsbury’s bosses say: “Achieve an elegant look this summer with our cream blouse.
“Designed in broderie, our blouse features flattering puff sleeves and is adorned with bow details on the front. Great for pairing with denim.”
Available in sizes 8-26, it is almost fully sold out online so you’ll need to try and bag it in your local store.
And fashionistas have already been racing to pick one up.
Modelling it in a short Instagram video which has racked up 84,000 views, fashion influencer Poppy Adams gushed: “I couldn’t not get her, it’s too cute. This top is so precious.
“I love the puffy sleeves.
“This is literally ticking the box of so many trends right now. She is a winner.”
A second delighted shopper added: “I love the bows and the high square neckline on this pretty blouse.”
A third said: “Love the white top.”
A fourth chimed in: “Oh the pretty white/cream top with the bows!!
“I’m going to try and get one tomorrow! It’s so pretty on you.”
Meanwhile, a fifth wrote: “Love the white broderie anglais top. So pretty.”
It’s not the only Tu Clothing piece that’s been sending fashion fans wild recently.
The supermarket’s ‘Black Smudge Spot Crinkle Mesh Midaxi Dress‘ has been hailed as a “standout piece” that can be worn in summer AND autumn – and it’s only £20.
Their creative stylist Katrina told shoppers to pair the “gorgeous” column frock with some gold jewellery for the perfect summer night look.
Reasons to shop supermarket fashion
When looking for new pieces to add to your seasonal wardrobe, or update your basics, there’s no need to spend hours walking around clothes shops, or scrolling online. Just pick up a dress or two alongside your fruit and veg…
They’re convenient – Chances are you visit your supermarket more times than a shopping centre or high street.
It’s affordable – For basics to more fashion-led pieces, supermarkets are leading the way for budget fashion that doesn’t look cheap.
They’re more on-trend that you think – With a customer database larger than the average high street store, shops like ASDA, Sainsbury’s and Tesco are able to cater to the markets and predict trends in a lot more areas than just food supply.
They fit well – Fits and lengths often come with a little more modesty in mind. Fabrics are often highly practical too—think plenty of 100% cotton that can be thrown into the washing machine without thought.
