The countdown to Strictly Come Dancing 2024 is officially underway, with the launch show expected to land on BBC One in weeks.
So far, all details aside from the official line-up have been kept tightly under wraps, including which pro dancers will be partnered with the celebrities.
This year, the likes of Towie’s Pete Wicks, comedian Chris McCausland, Love Island contestant Tasha Ghouri, Go Compare singer Wynne Evans and JLS singer JB Gills are competing for the glitterball trophy.
They’ll be joined by DIY SOS star Nick Knowles, former footballer Paul Merson, 80s music icon Toyah Willcox, BBC Morning Live star Dr Punam Krishan and former England hockey player Sam Quek MBE.
Completing the line-up are Gladiators athlete Montell Douglas, Olympic swimmer Tom Dean, EastEnders actor Jamie Borthwick, The X Factor winner Shayne Ward, and Miranda actress Sarah Hadland.

We’ll have to wait a few more weeks to find out which celebrities are partnered with which dancers, but there is a little clue that may give it away.
Over the years, the celebrities have typically been partnered with dancers who are often of similar stature and height, with the male being slightly taller than their female partners in many cases.
On the taller side of the pro dancers stands Alijaz Skorjanec and Johannes Radebe, who are said to reach 6ft, and Kai Widdrington, who is 6’1.
Meanwhile, Nadiya Bychkova has been the tallest professional female dancer in the past, at 5’8.
Of the celebrities taking part, Tom Dean is 6’4, Nick Knowles is 6’2 and Gladiators star Montell Douglas is 5’9.

The line-up also includes two singers who are no stranger to the glitterball trophy, having won Christmas specials.
EastEnders actor Jamie Borthwick won just last year, having been partnered with Nancy Xu, while JLS’ JB Gill was paired with Ola Jordan in 2012
It also has yet to be revealed which, if any, dancers may be in same-sex pairings.
Last year, Nikita Kuzmin made it to the final with Layton Williams, while the previous year had contestants Jayde Adams paired with Karen Hauer and Richie Anderson with Giovanni.
Strictly Come Dancing returns to BBC One and iPlayer later this year.
