BBC radio presenter Gemma Cairney has announced the birth of her first child.
The 39-year-old star, best known for her work on BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio 6 music, was flooded with congratulatory messages from fans and colleagues as she shared a sweet picture with her partner Cameron Mcallister and their newborn.
She wrote: ‘TWO WEEKS of the best madness, blessings, bliss, breathes, prayers, tears & momentous delirium.
‘I can’t offer enough thanks to our friends / kin, midwives, soothsayers, staunch support!’
The Glastonbury presenter went on: ‘Never ever felt love like this.
‘We are a fresh fam of 3, yipeeeeeeeee.’

Among those offering their congratulations were Strictly Come Dancing’s Angela Scanlon, who wrote: ‘Cannot wait to meet her xxx.’
Former Love Island presenter Laura Whitmore said: ‘Congrats so happy for ya! Xxx.’
Fearne Cotton added some red hearts and said: ‘Heaven sending so much love to you gorgeous woman.’
Singers Pixie Lott and Annie Lennox also shared their congratulatory messages and well-wishes.

Gemma had been sharing updates on her growing bump in recent months, writing in May alongside an image looking down at her bump as her silhouette could be seen in front of a window: ‘What an extraordinary time. Making, growing, connecting.’
The radio star, who began her career at the likes of Channel 4 Radio and Kiss FM, joined BBC Radio 1Xtra in November 2008 as the co-host of the weekday Breakfast show with Trevor Nelson.
In 2011 she went on to host her own weekday afternoon show, two years after she began fronting coverage of Glastonbury.
She’s also presented TV programmes including documentaries Riots: The Aftershock in 2012 and Books That Made Britain in 2016.
