If you’re looking for something to binge this weekend, we’ve already got you covered.
Apple TV+ comedy Acapulco has been renewed for a fourth season, after winning a nearly perfect Rotten Tomatoes score.
The series follows a man (Eugenio Derbez) recalling his life in the 80s, when he landed his dream job at a glam resort in the Mexican island of Acapulco.
The synopsis teases: ‘A journey back to the 80s through the memories of Máximo (Eugenio Derbez) will prove that even at the glamorous hotel Las Colinas, all that glitters is not gold.’
While Derbez narrates the series, playing the present-day version of the main character, Maximo Gallardo, Enrique Arrizon takes on the role of the twenty-something version.
The cast also includes Fernando Carsa, Damián Alcázar, Camila Perez, Chord Overstreet and Vanessa Bauche.
Acapulco first aired in 2021, with the third season premiering in May this year.
