Giulia has arrived in WWE as she finally made her debut during NXT No Mercy.
Hailed by many fans on social media as ‘the best all round women’s wrestler in the world’, the 30-year-old star rose to prominence in Japanese wrestling promotion Stardom and speculation about her wrestling future has been running rampant for months.
On Sunday night, she made a surprise appearance to confront NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez after the 22-year-old wrestler beat Jaida Parker to retain her gold.
As the so-called Prodigy celebrated in the ring, the lights dropped and fans roared as anticipation built, with some people also wondering if recent signing Stephanie Vaquer could appear.
It was Giulia who stepped through the curtains with smoke filling the stage, walking down the ramp and standing face to face with Roxanne, with the title clearly in her sights.
‘The Aura is of the charts. Come on man. GIULIA IS HERE !!! Goosebumps 😱😱🤯🤯,’ tweeted one excited fan, as another wrote on X: ‘This is how you debut someone new to the company! Giulia is one of the best wrestlers in the world.’

And yet another fan – who referenced her hard hitting wrestling style – said: ‘Yo im in awe really Giulia oozing coolnees with wwe presentation… cant wait to see her in the ring and how wwe manage her stiffness in the ring 🙌 (sic)’
Giulia was born in 1994 in England to an Italian father and a Japanese mother, but the family moved to Japan a year after her birth, and has become one of the highly praised wrestlers in the world.
As well as the fans both in the arena and watching from home, her new bosses have also been full of praise for the newest member of the NXT roster.
