Helen Flanagan struggled to fight back the tears as she detailed her ‘situationship’ with David Haye.
The Coronation Street actor, 34, was rumoured to be in a ‘throuple’ with the boxer, 43, and his model girlfriend Sian Osborne, 32, last year.
On yesterday’s Celebs Go Dating, Helen revealed she was in a ‘situationship’ withDavid, who she met on I’m A Celebrity in 2012.
She said she ‘fell in love’ with David, describing their romance as ‘like fire’, but broke down as she spoke about feeling ‘guilty’ as he has a girlfriend.
On the Channel 4 show, Helen recalled: ‘It was quite something, it’s really hard for me to talk about it he had a girlfriend and an open relationship.
‘I didn’t mean to fall in love with him but I did. We did have this amazing connection together. We were like fire together.

‘It was weird. I think he does love his girlfriend and I think he loved me as well. It just brings me to a part of my life that was quite dark, really.’
Celebs Go Dating expert Anna Williamson then asked Helen if she was in a ‘throuple’ with David and Sian.
The couple were previously said to be in a ‘throuple’ with The Saturdays’ Una Healey.
‘No,’ Helen replied. ‘Each to their own. I was in love with a man. I wouldn’t have enjoyed watching him have sex with another woman. That’s not for me.’

When asked if she had a conversation with Sian, Helen burst into tears as she said she felt ‘guilty and bad’ about her ‘situationship’ with David.
‘I was just really lonely and I found it really hard,’ she said.
It comes after Channel 4 confirmed it ‘discovered’ Helen was in a relationship with someone while filming Celebs Go Dating.
In a statement to Metro.co.uk, a Celebs Go Dating spokesperson said: ‘During the filming of Celebs Go Dating, the executive producers discovered that Helen Flanagan was in a relationship outside of the CGD process.
‘Once this came to light, Helen was asked to be transparent with the agents and her fellow celebrities during her next filming day.
‘As per the show’s guidelines, all participating celebrities must be single. After discussing the situation, it was decided that Helen and her partner, Robbie, would meet with the agents to assess their compatibility, and Helen would no longer date members of the public.’
They added that ‘these developments will be featured on the show starting from episode 10’.
The confirmation of Helen’s new relationship comes after reports she was ‘growing close to a new man’, a former footballer called Robbie Talbot, 44.
Before her ‘situationship’ with David and her new romance, Helen was with Bristol Rovers player Scott Sinclair. They split after 13 years together in 2022.
Helen and Scott share three children, Matilda, seven, Delilah, five, and Charlie, two.
After leaving Sian and David’s ‘throuple’, The Saturdays’ Una hit out and said she felt ‘hoodwinked’ into entering the relationship set-up.

However, David’s ‘throuple’ pal Mica Jova later accused Una of trying to put a bad light’ on David and Sian.
Speaking to MailOnline, Mica – who the outlet called David’s ‘throuple pal’ – said she had a ‘good time’ with David and Sian and addressed social media snaps of her, Sian and David, saying she doesn’t ‘regret anything’.
‘They were treating everyone right while I was with them, and they were so gentle, so they don’t deserve this,’ Mica shared.
She added: ‘They were two of the most gorgeous souls I have ever met and they are very cool people. I don’t regret anything in my life.
‘I had such a good time and I feel very grateful to have met them and to have them in my life.’
Other stars trying to find love on Celebs Go Dating are former Gogglebox star Stephen Webb, Married at First Sight’s Ella Morgan, Love Island’s Chris Taylor, Made in Chelsea’s Tristan Phipps and Hollyoaks actress Jamelia.
Celebs Go Dating is available to stream on Channel 4.
