Foo Fighters star Dave Grohl’s last public appearance with his wife Jordyn Blum before his baby bombshell involved a pretty excruciating interview.

The frontman, 55, shocked fans last night when he released a statement announcing he’d cheated on his wife of over 20 years and had fathered a baby with another woman.

Having married in 2003, Dave and Jordyn share three children together – Violet Maye, 18, Harper Willow, 15, and Ophelia Saint, 10 – and now he is welcoming a fourth with an unnamed woman.

This came as a huge shock to fans after Dave and TV producer Jordyn were seen at Wimbledon in July acting pretty normally.

However, Dave’s appearance at the tennis tournament hit the headlines for an awkward interview he had with BBC Sport, with a fan Paul Mitchell noting: ‘Dave has been acting slightly pi**y recently.’

With his historic Mr Nice Guy reputation, fans thought it out of character when Dave refused to speak to the sports journalist who simply asked him who might win Wimbledon, with others putting his avoidance down to a lack of tennis knowledge.

Asked for his Wimbledon winners, the former Nirvana drummer replied with a somewhat defensive: ‘What?’

Quizzed again, he replied again, ‘What?’ before adding that he had ‘no clue’ who would win the men’s final, and when asked about the women’s final he replied: ‘Couldn’t say.’

Commenting on the TikTok clip, fan DrWatt asked: ‘Are they told not to talk or is he just being awkward? I can’t tell.’

The London tennis championship marked the last time Dave and his wife were publicly photographed together before his shock announcement.

Aside from the awkward interview, Dave and Jordyn looked all smiles together in a few photos as they laughed in the stands and looked to be enjoying the sporting event.

However, other pictures saw them looking stony-faced in the stands – but whether that was because of simmering tensions or a gripping rally is unclear.

He wore a smart suit with a yellow tie, while Jordyn stunned in an elegant light blue buttoned-up structured dress and some black sunglasses.

Since Dave’s statement, his teenage daughters appear to have deactivated their own social accounts, and the My Hero rocker prohibited comments on his Instagram announcement.

The Times Like These singer cheated on his first wife, photographer Jennifer Leigh Youngblood – who he was married to from 1994 to 1997 – and later admitted this ultimately led to their split.

Prior to meeting Dave, Jordyn worked as a model and appeared on covers for Teen Vogue.

She moved on from modelling to become a producer at MTV, which is where she met Dave in 2001.
