Rebecca Sudwarts, who is five foot eight and in between a size 14 and 16, took to social media to model her new M&S buys, leaving many open-mouthed.
The curvy fashion fan, who is from the UK, nabbed a collection of items, from leopard print dresses and tops to jeans and a leather jacket, all of which are great for going into Autumn/Winter.
Posting online, the ex Senior Fashion Buyer posted her clip with the caption ‘I’m back with a new midsize M&S A/W haul, and there are so many gorgeous pieces! I’m obsessed with the leopard print blouse, but I want to know your faves!’
Rebecca then said: “I’m back with a massive, new-in M&S haul.”
To kick off her haul, Rebecca rocked a £39.50 leopard print dress, as she beamed: “This dress is so designer-inspired.
“I then saw this gorgeous, faux-leather jacket, £49.50 – this is such a cute outfit. How amazing would that be with boots or trainers?”
For the second outfit of the haul, Rebecca styled a £15 white oversized t-shirt with a £35 pink satin skirt, as she added: “I absolutely love the skirt, I love the top.
“The skirt is stunning, an amazing colour. The top is so cute.”
Following this, Rebecca rocked some black trousers with a £25 grey vest, as she continued: “I thought this outfit would be perfect for work.
“The trousers, pinstripe, really nice quality.
“This knitted vest is really versatile – you could put a long-sleeved top underneath it.”
After this, we saw Rebecca wearing a pair of blue denim jeans with a £35 puff-sleeve, leopard print top.
Why Everyone Is Loving M&S
Deputy Fashion Editor Abby McHale revealed to Fabulous why M&S is the shop of the moment. She explained:
“M&S has really pulled it out of the bag this season, there is so much good product to be excited about.
“A brand once known for its ‘frumpy fashion’ that notion is long gone with it now being one of the leading high street stores for womenswear.
“Its handbag range in particular is super strong with them selling 170% vs plan, with lots more designer dupes for just a fraction of the price.
“The brand is now also the #1 for style perceptions, compared to the #3 spot it had last year, this comes from a really strong design team focused on modernising the brand, not only taking into consideration how the pieces look, but how easy they are to wear also.
“Price is also a big factor with you being able to get many good quality pieces all for under £30.
“After having a sneak peak of the upcoming collection there are so many more amazing pieces that are dropping over the next few months to keep your eyes on.
“Think leopard print dresses, colourful co-ords, embroidered boho jackets, plus lots of swimwear and amazing accessories, as well as great wardrobe staples that will last year on year.”
Thrilled with the outfit, the fashionista explained: “I love this outfit, the jeans are so super soft, a really nice, light denim.
“The top is incredible, it’s so designer-inspired. Love.”
Not only this, but this M&S fan also nabbed a brown off-the-shoulder top, as she shared: “I also picked up this top which I thought would be a great basic layer with jeans, trousers. I love a bardot.
Reasons to shop supermarket fashion
When looking for new pieces to add to your seasonal wardrobe, or update your basics, there’s no need to spend hours walking around clothes shops, or scrolling online. Just pick up a dress or two alongside your fruit and veg…
They’re convenient – Chances are you visit your supermarket more times than a shopping centre or high street.
It’s affordable – For basics to more fashion-led pieces, supermarkets are leading the way for budget fashion that doesn’t look cheap.
They’re more on-trend that you think – With a customer database larger than the average high street store, shops like ASDA, Sainsbury’s and Tesco are able to cater to the markets and predict trends in a lot more areas than just food supply.
They fit well – Fits and lengths often come with a little more modesty in mind. Fabrics are often highly practical too—think plenty of 100% cotton that can be thrown into the washing machine without thought.
“It’s a really nice, jersey rib. It’s also quite long, so you could wear it all the way down if you wanted to cinch in your waist.”
Finally, Rebecca proudly modelled her new £29.50 leopard print dress, which is perfect for Autumn and super flattering.
She concluded: “This leopard dress is a jersey bodycon, it’s got ruching on the tummy so it creates a really nice shape.”
