Glastonbury has yet to announce its 2025 lineup, but rumour has it that one major British star could be set to headline the festival.
Following rumours that Oasis could be set to headline, rumours they have since denied, sources have now revealed that former One Direction star Harry Styles has been approached to take the Pyramid Stage in 2025.
Festival organiser Emily Eavis is reportedly calling him Glastonbury’s dream booking.
Speaking to The Sun, a source said: ‘Harry would be the perfect Glastonbury headliner and Emily has long wanted him on stage at Worthy Farm, but the dates have never quite worked out.’
Harry, 30, hasn’t performed in the UK since his surprise appearance during Stevie Nicks’ BST Hyde Park set in July and has no current tour plans but is believed to have been working on his fourth studio album in recent months.
‘Harry would be an incredible act to watch on the Pyramid Stage. Glastonbury has a fallow year in 2026, so booking Harry for next year would be perfect,’ another source told the news outlet.

They added: ‘It is something the team at Glastonbury are pushing for. Whether that dream will come true, however, is still to be decided by Harry’s team.’
It comes after news the Goddess of Pop, Cher, could be gracing the Glastonbury 2025 stage for the first time ever after reportedly entering ‘meaningful talks’.
The star, 78, hasn’t toured the UK since 2019, meaning a Glastonbury performance would make a long-awaited return.
‘It’s been a long time coming but she is finally in meaningful talks with Glastonbury about playing the legend’s slot,’ a source told The Sun.
It would also be the singer’s only opportunity to appear at Glastonbury for the next couple of years, as the festival will be taking a fallow year in 2026 to allow the land to recuperate.
The Worthy Farm festival has become an iconic part of the UK summer since its establishment in 1970 and sees many leading pop and rock artists taking the main stage during its five-day stint each year.

Some of its most memorable performances have included David Bowie’s 1971 show, where he performed the live debut of Changes, Beyonce’s 2011 set, which marked her biggest-ever crowd at the time, Sir Paul McCartney’s 2022 set, which made him the oldest artist to headline the event, and who can forget Sir Elton John’s final ever UK performance at the 2023 festival.
But music isn’t the only thing the festival, which sees an estimated 200,000 people attend each year, offers. It also has dance, comedy, theatre, circus, cabaret and stages full of other artistic performances.
As one of the biggest events in Britain’s pop culture calendar, tickets have become increasingly harder each year, and next year’s allocation could be some of the hardest to get if the rumoured headliners become confirmed performers.
