Nicola Coughlan took to the Emmys red carpet last night looking like a shining superstar, but fans were left raging after people kept stealing her limelight.
In a now-viral video, the Bridgerton actress, 37, posed in her sequined off-shoulder Prabal Gurung gown, which fanned out into a dramatic two-skirt situation.
She looked every bit an icon as she stood for the paparazzi at the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles, but was left giving a big old side-eye as people kept on crossing in front of her, interrupting her red carpet moment.
While she seemed to take the awkward situation well with a little snigger and a light-hearted wide-eyed look of horror, fans of the Derry Girls star weren’t happy as a couple stood in front of her, before swiftly moving on.
Another man then walks right past her, seemingly unaware they were in the presence of one of an Irish legend. Then, a photographer did the same.
‘Oh please don’t p**s me off. I know they see her,’ wrote fan @ThatsForAIITime alongside the clip.

‘Let the queen enjoy her moment why they keep disrupting her,’ said @Insulin56, as @Otaku_Anime_Hub asked: ‘Don’t red carpets usually have a back route behind the step and repeat to avoid this situation? Or are these old guys just being deliberately rude.’
‘Those people are so disrespectful it’s kinda pathetic,’ said @onlyalexiax, as @meamarsbar simply said: ‘fumingggggggg.’
Nicola attended the 76th Emmys as a presenter – and while Bridgerton wasn’t up for any trophies, season three recently debuted on Netflix.
As well as being known for *that* steamy carriage scene, Nicola’s character Penelope Featherington got the ultimate period drama glow-up in the latest installment, as she finally ended up with her long-term crush Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton).

Following the – let’s face it, pretty brilliant – season, Nicola has already confirmed she will be returning for the next, which will this time focus on Benedict Bridgerton’s love life, played by Luke Thompson.
She told The Wrap: ‘They’ve told us we’re back for season 4, which is super lovely… It’ll be exciting. [We’ll] pop back and have some fun for sure.’
Nicola has previously been praised for her brilliant response to a Q&A host during the Dublin Bridgerton screening who said she was ‘brave’ in taking up the role of Penelope.
Nicola expertly responded: ‘You know it is hard because I think a women with my body type, women with perfect breasts…’
The audience immediately burst out into laughter and applause.
‘We don’t get to see ourselves on screen enough, and I’m very proud as a member of the perfect breasts community,’ she continued, before cheekily adding: ‘I hope you enjoy seeing them.’
