Danny Dyer and his daughter Dani’s travel series, Absolutely Dyer: Danny and Dani Do Italy, has come to an unceremonious end.
The four-episode Channel 4 series followed the onscreen father-and-daughter duo as they road-tripped around Italy ‘taking in all the scenery, art and history they can handle… and finding out if this travel lark is their thing!’
After hitting up Palermo, Florence, Rome, the former Eastenders star, 47, and his influencer daughter Dani, 27, concluded their chaotic trip in Lake Como where they ‘holidayed like A-Listers’.
The sweary show originally came out in April 2023 but it seems like the pair will not be hopping on another flight anytime soon as new reports indicate that the show has been grounded.
Despite claims that they were enthusiastic to continue with the show.
‘Danny and Dani loved filming the Italy series, they had a laugh and it was great bonding time,’ a TV insider said.

‘They discussed doing more, even exploring regions in the UK, which would have been cheaper to make. But Channel 4 has decided once is enough and they won’t be back for more.’
The source added to the Sun: ‘Danny and Dani are still really well thought of as a telly duo, as shown on Celebrity Gogglebox, so they might return in a different guise on the channel.’
It’s not all bad news for Danny whose Sky comedy series Mr Bigstuff has escaped this fate and instead been renewed for a second season.
The show follows two estranged brothers, perfectionist Glen (Ryan Sampson) and carpet salesman Lee (Danny).
Meanwhile, he will also feature in the star-studded new Disney+ series, Rivals, alongside David Tennant, Aidan Turner, and Emily Atack.

And we might not even be able to rule out a soaps return as the actor voiced his desire to see Mick Carter’s return during the National Television Awards earlier this month.
His character was presumed dead after plunging into the ocean last Christmas.
The TV star recently spoke to Metro.co.uk about wanting to start his own production company to bolster working-class talent.
‘I found out that it’s about 6%, and that worries me. So, I would like to, if I could possibly give something back to this industry, because it’s done a lot for me, it would be to try and give some real working class kids hope and opportunity,’ he said.
As for former Love Island contestant Dani, she’s currently basking in newly-engaged bliss after her to-be-husband – England footballer Jarrod Bowen – popped the question in July.
The loved-up couple share one-year-old twins, Summer and Star, and Dani also has a three-year-old son, Santiago, from a previous relationship.
