Piers Morgan has insisted he doesn’t have ‘unkind’ or ‘intolerant’ views.
The controversial TalkTV host, 59, is no stranger to sparking backlash, having caused 50,000 complaints over his comments about Meghan Markle on Good Morning Britain in 2021.
He also mimicked the Chinese language on the ITV programme the year before, leading to the broadcaster issuing an apology.
And just last year, he was slammed for cruelly mocking Madonna over her appearance.
But in a new interview, Morgan has now claimed he doesn’t have ‘particularly unkind views about anything.’
He said: ‘When I get into a debate with a proper woke mind virus victim, I will say: “I know you hate me for my views, but what do you actually think my views are? Which particular view of mine do you hate?” And they can never answer.’
He went on to GQ: ‘Because I don’t have far-right views. I don’t have intolerant views. I don’t have particularly unkind views about anything.
‘I express myself in a strident way. It’s never to do with what I actually stand for, or what I’ve done.’

This comes just weeks after, amid a toxic gender row over whether Imane Khelif should be able to compete in the Olympics, Morgan posted on X: ‘If this is a biological female, I’m a biological aardvark.’
He’s also called I’m A Celebrity winner Sam Thompson ‘an irritating reality TV halfwit’ (which he later apologised for), and cruelly mocked Victoria Beckham for letting her hair down.
But it was in 2021 when Morgan caused the most uproar, with shocking comments about the Duchess of Sussex that eventually sparked his Good Morning Britain exit.
He remarked that he didn’t believe Meghan’s claims that she suffered from suicidal thoughts and wasn’t granted help by the Palace when she sought it.
Morgan later won his Ofcom complaint with the watchdog ruling that he was entitled to share his opinions, but he did walk out on his job over it.
Three years later, and Morgan appears to have no regrets over his comments.
In January, he doubled down on his original comments, saying: ‘I did not believe that happened. So what’s happened since? This was over two years ago right. Ever since then, there has not been not a single shred of evidence or a name of that person produced.’
Morgan also said he didn’t believe, as Meghan previously claimed, that two members of the royal family, later alleged to be King Charles and Kate Middleton, made comments about her son Archie’s skin colour.
It’s hard to keep track of all the swipes Morgan has made about the couple, from calling their Netflix documentary ‘worse than the Kardashians’, slamming Prince Harry for attending his own father’s Coronation and describing the Spare author as a ‘weapons-grade hypocrite.’
But never mind all that, because now he’s convinced he’s not ‘unkind’…
