Stacey Solomon has reportedly called time on a Channel 4 show after worrying fans she had quit Loose Women.

The former X Factor star, 34, has decided against fronting a second season of Renovation Rescue to concentrate on her BBC projects, it has been claimed.

The show saw Stacey come to the rescue of homeowners who’d been left high and dry by their builders and help them salvage their half-built homes.

Explaining her departure, a source told The Sun: ‘Stacey had a great time making Renovation Rescue but the fact she isn’t doing a second series allows her to focus on her projects with the Beeb.

In reference to Stacey winning the factual entertainment NTA for Sort Your Life Out, they continued: ‘They’ve been a huge success and the NTA win is evidence that the viewing public love what she does.’

It comes after fans were concerned Stacey had quit ITV show Loose Women as she was missing from their 25th anniversary portrait.

In the picture, the Loose Women panellists, including Denise Welch and Coleen Nolan, are all dressed in glamorous silver dresses to celebrate the milestone.

They would not be the first projects Stacey has departed from after recently revealing she had stepped down from a huge role after three years to spend more time with her family.

Stacey welcomed her fifth child, Belle, with her husband, Joe Swash, 42, last year. The couple also shares Rex, four, and Rose, two, while Stacey has 16-year-old Zachary with her ex Dean Cox and Leighton, 11, with former fiancé Aaron Barnham.

Posting a statement on her Instagram story, Stacey told fans: ‘Today has been a wonderful but emotional day as I shot my LAST EVER collection for In The Style.

‘I have loved every single second of being able to design & create clothing with the most incredible team & literally bring my dreams to life.’

She continued to say that this year, she has ‘thought a lot about work/family balance’ and what she needs to prioritise and as a result needed to ‘give more of myself back to my family’.

‘We wanted to end on a high, so this last collection has every bit of love we could possibly give it & it only felt right to end it in my favourite season’, she explained.

In May, Stacey said her dream was to quit TV work to become a stay-at-home mum, saying she wants to only take on work she can do mostly from home apart from the occasional ‘passion project’.

With her eldest son about to leave school and become an adult, Stacey said she felt like she was at a ‘pivotal’ moment in her life, and she didn’t want to ‘miss what I potentially feel like I missed with my older children’ with her younger ones.

Speaking on the Glad We Had This Chat podcast, Stacey said she wanted to have more time to spend with all of her kids, which was leading her to reconsider her work commitments.

‘Each year I have a team meeting with my agent and everyone on the team to say, “What’s your plan, what’s your goals, blah, blah, blah”,’ she explained.

‘And this year when they asked me my five-year goals, I was like “I want to be a stay-at-home mum”.

‘That is like my dream, my ultimate dream. I just want to be with my kids.’

She added: ‘I mean it is conflicting, because I also want to fulfil my dreams and my goals and the things that I’m passionate about, because if I don’t have that, will I feel unfulfilled?

Stacey went on to share that what she was currently trying to do was ‘make sure everything that I work on I can work on 90% of the time at home’.

After appearing on The X Factor in 2009, Stacey went on to win I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! the following year.

In 2016 she began appearing as a panellist on Loose Women and has since gone on to present Sort Your Life Out and Bake Off: The Professionals, while also being one of the stars of Celebrity Gogglebox.

Metro.co.uk has contacted Stacey’s reps and Channel 4 for comment.

Stacey Solomon’s Renovation Rescue is available to stream on Channel 4.
