The Traitors star Charlotte Chilton has spoken in a new interview about her pregnancy, revealing when the winner of the show Harry Clark stopped speaking to her.

In April, Charlotte shared the news that she was expecting a ‘miracle’ baby, having previously experienced seven miscarriages in her 20s and attempted IVF.

The reality TV star, who found fame on the thrilling BBC gameshow earlier in the year, later revealed that the father of her baby was the singer Conor Maynard, the brother of Harry’s girlfriend, Anna Maynard.

Charlotte, 33, explained how she met Conor, 31, at Raffles nightclub on the night that the final of The Traitors aired, having been strongly encouraged by Harry to make his acquaintance.

They ended up having a one-night stand, which happened shortly after Charlotte’s seven-year marriage to ex-wife Laura had come to an end.

After Charlotte told Conor that she was pregnant, he reportedly told her that he wasn’t ready to be a father, and she described how she felt ‘pressured’ to keep his identity as the father a secret.

In a new interview on Anna Richardson’s podcast It Can’t Just Be Me, Charlotte said that she felt ‘betrayed’ by the way that she’d been treated by others throughout her pregnancy.

‘Betrayed I would particularly pick up on. I feel betrayed by Conor in the sense that he’s just… every word that comes out of his mouth is a lie. I don’t know who he actually is. And if I hadn’t been pregnant, that wouldn’t have been my problem, you know?’ she said.

The Traitors star continued: ‘But unfortunately, the minute I found out I was pregnant, Harry just stopped speaking to me. I feel betrayed by him.

‘And I feel betrayed that his family and surrounding networks such as Harry and that are aware, and they still put me in touch with a guy like this. The betrayal just seems to keep going.’

When Naked Attraction presenter Anna, 54, remarked that it was ‘like a really weird real-life Traitors’, Charlotte then quipped: ‘Traitor by name, traitor by nature.’

In September, Harry told Metro.co.uk in an interview that he now only speaks to one of his former co-stars from The Traitors – Paul Gorton, with whom he now co-hosts a podcast.

‘You naturally drift apart. Where everyone’s so busy now, that’s what’s happened. Me and Paul drifted but into the same [Devious podcast] show, so we talk all the time,’ he said at the time.

‘With everyone else, we don’t really talk as much. I still wish them all the best.’

On the podcast, Charlotte emphasised to Anna how ‘difficult’ it has been to be ‘excited’ to welcome her baby girl, Penelope, ‘but then you mix it with someone who cuts you down and then starts to put pressure on you that he doesn’t want it released, that he doesn’t want people to know’.

Saying that she felt ‘shamed and silenced’, the recruitment company director added: ‘Do you know what really pisses me off? People who say you can’t force him to be a dad. I’d like to correct you. By law he is a father, whether he wants to be involved or not.

‘That’s still it. He is still father and I still have to tick boxes. But I don’t want him in my daughter’s life now.’

Last month, Charlotte had a baby shower, which was attended by several of her co-stars from The Traitors, including Charlie Bees and Ash Bibi, and Big Brother star Trish Balusa.
