Married At First Sight UK is about to get even more interesting thanks to the introduction of brand new brides and grooms.
The ‘intruders’ will join the cast after also marrying as strangers, to see if they are able to find a long-lasting connection.
Metro can exclusively reveal that Stephen is one of the late arrivals, and the medical technology technician from Berkshire has experience of being married.
The 33-year-old tied the knot at 18 and became a Mormon due to his ex-wife being a member of the Mormon Church.
Aged 25, the couple split and Stephen decided that this way of life wasn’t for him, so he no longer follows the beliefs.
Reflecting on his past, he said: ‘I was young. I’d like to understand who I am as a partner now I’m 33, and what I can bring to a relationship now that’s maybe different to back then. ’

‘I hope to learn about myself on a deeper level,’ he summarised.
He has joined the Channel 4 dating show to find someone kind, spicy and feisty… with nice teeth.
Ahead of meeting his partner for the first time, Stephen said that looks are very important.
‘Absolutely they are,’ he stated before quickly adding: ‘But attraction can grow.
‘They have to be a good and kind person above everything. Someone caring, loyal, affectionate and kind. Someone strong enough I can leave in a room full of high-energy family and friends and can hold her own!’
Time will tell if experts Paul C Brunson, Mel Schilling, and Charlene Douglas have managed to fulfil his brief.

Also joining the chaos is Sionainn, a 29-year-old makeup artist from Glasgow.
After being single for a year, Sionainn thinks that now is the right time to find her forever person – although she admits that she can lose interest quickly.
Mostly falling for the bad boys, Sionainn is hoping to break this streak and find a kind-hearted gentleman to sweep her off her feet.
‘I applied for the show because I have terrible taste in men and thought it was a better idea to have someone else pick someone for me because god knows I need help,’ she explained.
Sionainn is looking forward to getting plenty of advice from the experts but admits she may get distracted by Paul, 49.
‘Paul is freakishly handsome so he might make me blush,’ she confessed.
Joining the pair are the previously announced wedding planner Amy, 27, health and fitness businesswoman Hannah, 33, prison education manager Luke, 30, and binman Ryan, 28.

Their arrivals come after ‘the worst match ever’ left the experiment.
After a tumultuous time, Eve and Charlie decided that they weren’t a match and walked away.
Many viewers celebrated the decision after expressing concerns the relationship had become toxic.
Luckily, we still have Kieran and Kristina to give us hope.
Married At First Sight UK continues tonight at 9pm on E4.
