John Bishop just perfectly demonstrated why he’s one of the UK’s most beloved comedians.
While Oasis fans screamed into the ether over their inflated ticket prices due to the controversial dynamic pricing model on Ticketmaster, John has his fans’ backs.
For his 25th anniversary tour, which he announced today, John has priced every ticket at every show at £25 plus fees.
Speaking about the tour, the 57-year-old comedian said: ‘I can’t believe that next year it will be 25 years since I first performed at the Frog and Bucket in Manchester.
‘It’s been a rollercoaster! And I can’t thank the fans enough who have supported me all the way. I wanted to mark the anniversary with a brand-new tour and do something to say thank you – so every ticket throughout the tour will be £25*.
‘I really hope you can come and celebrate with me.’

This will mark a huge milestone in the Doctor Who star’s career since he first performed in Manchester’s Frog and Bucket in 2000 while working in the pharmaceutical industry.
The John Bishop’s Australia presenter has gone on to star in his own TV shows and even appeared in a pantomime with Sir Ian McKellen, all alongside his successful stand-up comedy career.
The £25 tickets will be available on Friday October 11 from 10am, and can be purchased via his website.
The tour is kicking off on October 2 2025 at Plymouth Pavilions, and will head to London’s O2, Manchester, Newcastle, Glasgow, Aberdeen, Leeds, Manchester, Nottingham, Birmingham, Brighton, Bournemouth, Cardiff, Liverpool, Dublin before wrapping up in Belfast on November 1.
In his September performance in the Bloomsbury Theatre, John discussed his ‘menopause’ and how testosterone gel lifted his mood after he found himself crying at Britain’s Got Talent.
Sir Ian McKellen watched on in the crowd as the Liverpudlian described building himself up to kiss the Lord of the Rings actor on stage for part of his Mother Goose pantomime.

The comic was forced to pull out of the Mother Goose pantomime with the Hobbit actor last year when his mother Kathleen died at the age of 80.
Kathleen watched her son perform in the show shortly before she died.
The comedian shared the tragic news of his mum’s death on Instagram with an adorable picture that showed the pair smiling together.
Also included in the post was a video of John on stage in the pantomime while his proud mother watched on from the crowd.
He penned a heartfelt caption that read: ‘Two weeks ago my Mum came to see me in Mother Goose in Liverpool and joined in the sing a long at the end as I knew she would.
‘This morning we said goodbye to her and we will never hear her sing again.
‘As a family we are heartbroken. She was a mother, a grandmother and a great grandmother and she loved us all.
‘Next week she would have been married to my Dad for 62 years and they had a love and a friendship that was beautiful to be around.
‘We want to thank all of the brilliant staff at Whiston Hospital on ward 3C who could not have done more and provided exceptional care for us all.
‘Anyone who has lost a parent will understand when I say it is a pain like no other.
‘I will never have another mother but I will be eternally grateful for being lucky enough to have had the one I did. Good night Mum, your were our sunshine [sic]’.
John has three sons called Joe, 28, Luke, 26, and Daniel 24, with his wife Melanie, who he married in 1993.
In 2022 John released a documentary called Life After Deaf, about his relationship with his son Joe as the latter lost his hearing.
Joe caught a virus and developed Cogan’s syndrome, an autoimmune disease that attacks ear tissue.
