This Morning star Ashley James shared an emotional statement on Monday morning, revealing that her three-year-old son was in A&E.

DJ, model, and presenter Ashley, a mum-of-two, has appeared on the ITV morning magazine show several times, often as a guest panelist or host.

On social media, the former Made in Chelsea star, 36, has always been open and honest, providing updates about her home and family life – she shares her two children with partner Tom Andrews.

But the update she provided on Monday was an emotional one, with her daughter Ada off sick from school and her son Alfie currently in A&E with dad Tom after suffering a nasty fall.

In an Instagram story, she said: ‘Quite the dramatic start to the week. Definitely crash landed back from a child-free weekend. Little lady was up poorly in the night weren’t you?’ she said to one-year-old Ada.

Her story continued: ‘She’s not at nursery today as she’s a bit poorly, aren’t you? You’ve got a bit of a temperature.’

She then revealed the unfortunate news about little Alfie, explaining what had happened to the previous day that saw him wind up needing medical care.

‘Tommy is at A&E with Alfie. Yesterday, Alf fell in the playground before I got home. He loves the fireman’s pole but he basically just fell from high and he’s been complaining about his sore ankle.’

Her story carried on: ‘The thing is with Alf is he’s quite dramatic so he really over-eggs any illness. He’s always asking for ice packs.

Ashley did reveal that Alfie could be a little bit of a ‘drama boy’ (Picture: Instagram)

‘He can be a bit of a drama boy. But he woke up this morning and still said his ankle was sore and then Tommy got him dressed and he was really crying.’

And her suspicions turned out to be true, with an update provided two hours later confirming that Alfie was ‘faking it’ and therefore ‘okay’, laughing about the ordeal with Ada.

Ashley also revealed that all of the above had unfortunately occurred on a day when a ‘big meeting’ was planned for her, teasing fans about her upcoming projects and ideas.

Because Ada was off sick from nursery, Ashley also mentioned that her daughter well be joining her in the meeting and was hoping she’d make a good ‘first impression’.

As well as appearing on Made in Chelsea and This Morning over the past few years, Ashley also made it 29 days in the Big Brother house when she competed on Celebrity Big Brother in 2018.

The series Ashley competed on was eventually won by Courtney Act, who emerged victorious after 32 days in the house.

In addition to those credits, Ashley has also been a panelist and guest on shows such as This Week, The Wright Stuff, Kay Burley, The Jeremy Vine Show, and Steph’s Packed Lunch.
