Ahead of the launch of Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6, Activision is giving away a huge cash prize as part of a safehouse challenge hosted by Roman Kemp.
Call Of Duty might not want to be described as political, but a new challenge for Black Ops 6 is trying to tackle the housing crisis in the UK.
Ahead of the game’s launch on October 25, Activision is running a competition where it will give one fan £100,000 in cash so they can put down a deposit on a house.
The amount covers £57,959 for the house, which is estimated to have been the standard house price in the UK in 1991 (when Black Ops 6 is set), along with legal fees, money for new furniture, and the latest gaming gear, including an Xbox Series X.
To be in with the chance of winning, you have to throw your support behind one of three influencers, Angry Ginge, Ash Holme, or Danny Aarons, who will go head-to-head in a series of Black Ops-inspired challenges ‘themed around lies and deception’.
Radio presenter Roman Kemp will conduct the challenges in a replica safehouse inspired by the Black Ops series. If you back the right horse, so to speak, you’ll be entered into a prize draw for the £100,000 house deposit.
You can enter the competition, which is open to all UK residents aged 18+ who are not homeowners, by backing one of the influencers here. In your application, you also have to explain within 100 words why you should win and provide a supporting video.

You must enter your application before October 21, 2024 at 10am BST for a chance to win. The winning influencer will be revealed on the Call Of Duty social media channels on October 24, while the overall winner of the competition will be announced on November 1.
Speaking about the challenge, Kemp said: ‘This year Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6 is taking gamers back to the 90s, a time that we all look back on fondly thanks to the incredible music, wild fashion, and ‘Cool Britannia’ vibes.
‘However, the 90s was also a time of political upheaval and deception, so to secure the prize for one of their fans our Rogue Agents will need to embody the 90s and the Black Ops spirit to secure the bag.’
Black Ops 6’s biggest new addition is the omni-movement system, which allows you to sprint, dive, and slide in any direction. Zombies is also making a return, only this time set on a prison island.
Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6 will launch October 25 across PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One. It will also be available on Xbox Game Pass, if you’re subscribed to a specific tier.
