We’re sizes 10 and 18 and did a huge autumn Quiz haul – don’t sleep on this shop, we kept everything

THERE are more than 60 Quiz stores across the UK, and they’re currently rammed full of gorgeous autumn and winter buys.

But if you’d asked us before last week if it’s somewhere we regularly shop, the answer would be no.

These £16.99 leggings are a godsend if you’re tummy-conscious

This £39.99 dress was the star of the autumn haul

At 33-years-old, I’m a big-boobed and petite size 18. Meanwhile, my work bestie Lynn, 44, is a gorgeous size 10 momma.

We both struggle with body issues when it comes to our tums but are trying to step out of our comfort zones to help our fellow shoppers find the best stores for size inclusive fashion.

We’ve been scouring fan-favourite supermarkets and high street stores to find the right outfits for every occasion – and for everybody.

And last week we decided to give a Scottish retail chain a try.

Quiz was founded in Glasgow in the 1990s and has quickly established itself as a high street giant.

Both myself and Lynn admitted we had always thought it catered to a much younger crowd, and as a result, tended to avoid it.

But we were in for a lovely surprise with our haul – finding outfits not just in our size, but that were stylish and age-appropriate too.

First up, we bagged a £27.99 black and white striped jumper in a small and large which we paired with a flattering black pleated midi skirt (size 10 and 18) for an office look.

With a comfy elasticated waistband, the £34.99 skirt is a true to size gem that can easily be dressed up with heels too.

The jumper is a gorgeous knit without feeling too chunky, and is giving very time-appropriate Beetlejuice vibes.

We finished off our office vibes with a cropped black blazer which we picked up in a size 10 and 18 for £49.99.

Next, we paired a £34.99 oatmeal shacket with T-shirts and £16.99 chocolate brown ribbed leggings.

If, like us, you’re self-conscious about your stomach then these leggings – which we bagged in a small and large – are an absolute godsend.

The high waist and thick, suck-you-in waistband are a dreamy combo. And the colour is perfect for autumn too.

The only small criticism I could make about this casual fall look, I wish the shacket went up to a size XL for a slightly baggier look.

For our final look, we found an absolute steal of an autumn wedding guest dress.

And it won’t just be perfect for weddings – with Christmas just two months away, it will also look gorgeous at festive parties.

The stunning £39.99 forest green bardot skater dress – available in sizes 8 to 26 – skims your figure in all the right places and hides any lumps and bumps.

It has a pretty and feminine neckline that feels very flattering…even when we accidentally wore the sleeves much higher than the model on the website.

It proved to be true to size too after we picked it up in a size 10 and 18.

You’d be hard pushed to find a good quality occasionwear dress for under £40, so this is a definite bargain.

If green’s not your colour, it’s also available in black, red, purple, pink, burgundy and floral.

So if you’re looking for an autumn wardrobe refresh and you’ve not given Quiz a chance before, go for it. Like us, you won’t be disappointed.

And check out our other ‘For Everybody’ hauls for some more inspiration.

So far we have put Sainsbury’s Tu Clothing autumn collection to the test and walked away with some fantastic wardrobe staples including an £18 leopard print dress that suits any occasion.

Meanwhile, River Island impressed with their fall fashion – and we discovered the coat of the season.

We’ve also found the best alternative to the viral jumper in Primark, as well as some surprise jeans and trousers that are AW24 staples.
