Jam Press Vid/@sculpt.activewearPeople joked that someone was ‘having a laugh’ when designing the hat[/caption]

She couldn’t resist trying it on but didn’t like the look.

It is part of the 187-garment Rita Ora Collection on sale.

The 30-year-old tied the woollen threads around her neck and almost fell to her knees in laughter while looking at her reflection in a mirror.

Sophie – who spotted it in Primark in Stockport, Gtr Mancs, on Tuesday (Oct 15) said: “Everybody else scroll past this except Rita Ora.

“You’ve done a smashing, smashing job around here.

“Who’s put this on and gone ‘Yes, you’ll pass’?

“Rita, thank you very much. You’ve absolutely slayed with this collection.

“You are going to the fashion awards.”

Primark’s website says that the “bold knitted bonnet showcases a bright red hue for a punchy look”.

Sophie says she put the bonnet back on the shelf for someone who “may pull it off” to buy.

“I stopped to pick up the hat because I wondered what it was and how it would fit,” Sophie, of Stockport, told What’s The Jam.

“It was a bright red wool material with two long side pieces.

“I can imagine other people may pull it off, but I’ve always had a round head so I knew it wouldn’t be my thing.

“From a brand perspective, I would ask whether Rita knows what Primark is putting out under her name.”

A description of the bonnet on Primark’s website reads: “It’s time to step into your Little Red Riding Hood era with this bold knitted bonnet from the Primark Presents Rita Ora range.

“Underpinned by a desire to offer warmth in really cool conditions, this hooded design can be tied around the neck in a sweet bow and worn in the place of a hat.
