Priced at just £15, they work out at a whopping £60 cheaper than the more expensive originals.

The sets were released in four hues for autumn – black, beige, light purple and grey.

And now, excited staff have revealed “it’s that time” as they shared two new colours ahead of Christmas.

In a short video posted by workers at Primark’s East Kilbride store, the red pyjamas with white piping, and a white version covered in mistletoe can be seen filling the shelves.

Describing them, store bosses say: “For nightwear that’s as stylish as your daytime wardrobe, you can count on these boyfriend pyjamas!

“Made from a soft jersey, the long sleeve top features a revere collar, button-up front and chest pocket for timeless charm.

“The coordinating trousers enjoy an elasticated waist that falls to a relaxed wide leg silhouette to offer a comfy wearing experience.

“Finished with classic contrast piping, you can layer these PJs with your fluffiest dressing gown for those moments you want to be extra toasty!”

And shoppers are desperate to get their hands on the festive version of the viral sleepwear, with the clip racking up 850,000 views overnight.

“These are gorgeous”, gushed one.

A second wrote: “I want these pjs for Christmas.”

A third added: “We need them before they’re gone!!!!”

“Straight in my basket love”, insisted a fourth.

Someone else said: “I’m running to Primark.”

Meanwhile, a sixth exclaimed: “Neeed to get these”, accompanied by the heart eye emoji.

Other fashion fans, however, raised concerns about the Santa-hued red pyjamas after picking up a very similar version last year.

“These red pyjamas stain bed sheets no matter how many times you wash them”, fumed one person.

A second echoed: “The red ones have made my white bedding pink.”

And a third agreed: “Just an fyi the red pjs stain your bed sheets!”

But Primark workers were quick to reassure shoppers that any issues have been resolved.

In a comment below their video, the East Kilbride branch said: “Stained bedding is so last year, all good now.”
