TMZ has been blasted for sharing pictures of Liam Payne’s body after his death aged 31.
The former One Direction star fell from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on October 16.
Following the news of his death, policed arrived at the scene after an emergency call, and one officer in charge said he heard a loud sound in the inner courtyard when they reached.
As the news broke last night, TMZ initially shared pictures of his body.
The American news website published photographs showing parts of his arm and waist, with some of his tattoos visible.
After outrage, those images have now been taken down, but are still circulating on social media, after fans saved them from the website to reshare.
TMZ have also kept images of a red police tent that was put up around his body before it was moved on their website.

Fans have expressed outrage at the pictures making the rounds on social media, blasting TMZ as ‘vile’ and a ‘disgrace’.
‘TMZ are actually vile,’ @Rebbeebee wrote, while @misszing said: ‘TMZ posting edited pictures of Liam Payne’s body is absolutely vile behaviour and completely indefensible. What were they thinking?’
Mikaeladraws said: ‘Here’s a crazy idea. Maybe places like @TMZ shouldn’t put photos of a VERY recently deceased celebrity’s DEAD BODY PARTS in their articles. F**king vile.’
‘what TMZ has done is vile and horrific but you sharing screenshots of that to say how vile and horrific it is is just as bad and you should be so so so ashamed of yourselves,’ @hannahshouse_ wrote.

‘TMZ is a disgrace. Always bottom barrel behaviour,’ @DearDevante also wrote.
@goodgirlfaithhh fumed: ‘TMZ once again not having even an ounce of couth or decorum. Disgusting, egregious and unethical behavior on every level.’
This comes after reports that the hotel where Payne died, CasaSur Palermo, has been flooded with fake reviews from trolls.
A vigil was held outside the hotel last night, with fans gathering to pay tribute after police cordoned off the area, where they lit candles and left flowers at the side of the road.

Payne had been in Argentina to attend the concert of former bandmate Niall Horan, and the two had posted pictures together backstage and interacted with fans.
In the hours before his death, Payne reportedly posted a video on Snapchat saying: ‘It’s a lovely day here in Argentina.’
Former X Factor stars have sent condolences to his family, and shared tributes to the Strip That Down singer, with Payne’s ex-fiancée Maya Henry, who was in the process of taking legal action against him, also speaking out, while the likes of Jedward and Olly Murs have also sent their love to his seven-year-old son.
