US singer Pink has announced she is postponing four shows in her Summer Carnival Tour the day before one of them was set to take place.
The star, who had her first UK number one with Lady Marmalade in 2001, said she was ‘disappointed’ to make the decision.
The 45-year-old, whose real name is Alecia Moore Hart, announced on Saturday that she would reschedule her Sunday show at Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Pink, known for her acrobatic stunts during her performances, did not give a reason for being unable to go on stage.
She wrote on Instagram that South Dakota’s Denny Sanford Premier Centre show on Monday, Milwaukee’s Fiserv Forum date on Wednesday and Des Moines’ Wells Fargo Arena show in Iowa on Thursday would also be moved to a later date.
Her other upcoming dates include the Moody Centre in Austin, Texas on November 3 as well as other US shows, which she did not mention.

The statement, posted on Pink’s Instagram account, read: ‘Due to reasons beyond my control, we need to postpone our next four shows in Lincoln, Sioux Falls, Milwaukee and Des Moines.
‘I’m so disappointed to share this news, but we are working on rescheduling each of these shows as soon as we can. Your tickets will still be valid.’
She added that she was ‘sending love and health to you all’, and thanked her fans for their ‘understanding’.
In July, Pink cancelled her show in Bern, Switzerland, following a consultation with her doctor.
She said she had ‘been advised that I’m unable to continue’, but did not specify the illness.
In September 2023, she also cancelled a show just hours before after coming down with a ‘bad sinus infection’, and again the following month due to ‘family medical issues’.
The Just Like A Pill chart-topper’s fans met her latest postponement in the comments largely with understanding.
‘I think everyone knows you don’t do this lightly and if out of your control then absolutely nothing that can be done. Take care x,’ replied Jane Maylor.
‘Normalise celebrities not owing the public a dam thing,’ chimed in @pickleslafae, while other supporters of Pink promised the community her delayed shows would be worth the wait.
‘She postponed the first concert I was to go to, by almost a full year, but when I went…wow, it was worth every cent and day!!!’ enthused @furytraininggrounds, while @Ashley Duran Northup added: ‘Same thing happened in Seattle and we all waited patiently for your AMAZING PERFORMANCE nine months later! We all survived the wait and you showed up for us and totally kicked ass!!!!’

‘Your fans will live in anticipation of a great show whenever it happens! Hope all is ok!!!’ they added.
‘JUST GIVE ME A REASON 😂 No no I’m kidding, stay safe!!’ quipped Livy Gray, referencing some of the star’s famous lyrics as she poked fun at those demanding specifics as to why the gigs were being postponed.
‘I hope all is ok! Your true fans know this is not something you take lightly and I’m sure they all appreciate what you’re doing, for whatever reasons!’ posted fan page @pink_insideout. ‘Just stay safe and healthy and let’s keep everyone else safe and healthy as well. And you’re not obliged to give a reason… If it’s personal business, it’s personal.’
