A glorious British girl band from the 00s have announced they are reuniting to perform onstage together 25 years after their biggest hit single.

Supersister were part of the wave of iconic pop groups that blessed our ears at the turn of the millennium, with their success peaking courtesy of hit single Coffee in 2000.

Taking to Instagram on Monday, they announced that they would be part of the lineup for Mighty Hoopla next summer.

‘We are performing at @mightyhoopla!!!! We will be on the Hayu stage SUNDAY 1st June 2025!!!!’ the thrilled post began.

’25 years since COFFEE was released !!!! We are so excited!!!!!! ☕️☕️☕️☕️,’ the group added.

That anthem, proclaiming a love of men who were ‘hot, strong and sweet’ (like coffee obviously), broke into the UK Top 20 and placed at number 16.

Supersister is made up of Eleanor Phillips, Louise Fudge and Tina Peacock.

After signing to Gut Records at the turn of the millennium, they released three successfully charting singles: ‘Coffee’, ‘Shopping’ and ‘Summer Gonna Come Again’.

Their success saw them support the likes of Steps and Hear’Say on tour in 2001.

In a twist of fate, the group’s debut album, Lip Service, never got released after Gut Records went bankrupt in 2008.
