‘Netflix’s best-ever show’ lands 100% Rotten Tomatoes score for third season-Ruth Lawes-Entertainment – Metro

Netflix viewers are urging everyone to clear out their schedule to binge-watch the show of the century.

The third season of hit legal drama The Lincoln Lawyer has landed on the streamer with glowing reviews across the board and a perfect Rotten Tomatoes score.

For the uninitiated, the show follows top LA defence lawyer Mickey Haller (Manuel Garcia-Rulfo) represent people who he believes have been wrongly convicted of committing the most gruesome crimes.

The latest installment follows Micky and his second-in-command Lorna Crane, played by 00s TV favourite and Ugly Betty legend Becki Newton, seek justice for the murder of their former client Glory Days (Fiona Rene).

Certain the wrong man Julian La Cosse (Devon Graye), has been jailed for the crime, Micky represents him in court and begins an investigation of his own to uncover the real identity of the killer, unravelling widespread corruption along the way.

On X, The Lincoln Lawyer fans have been raving about the series – declaring it one of the best-ever shows on Netflix. Among them is @Hanson_Baba, who raved: ‘The Lincoln Lawyer might be the best show ever to hit Netflix.’

Echoing their sentiment, @Mortsss_ enthused: ‘Lincoln Lawyer is one of the best Netflix shows. I need them to start filming season 4 right now.’

@ChrisKE_ commented: ‘I just finished watching Lincoln Lawyer Season 3 in one sitting, and I’m already Googling the release date for Season 4. The suspense is overwhelming!’

@SheaSerrano added: ‘The Lincoln Lawyer tv show is just a tremendous amount of fun.’

The Lincoln Lawyer has also gone down a storm with critics – landing 100% on Rotten Tomatoes’ reviews aggregator the Tomatometer.

For Screen Rant, Nick Bythrow wrote: ‘The Lincoln Lawyer season 3 offers a tightly-focused story on Mickey Haller’s most compelling case yet, as the Netflix original procures a wild ride.’

In FandomWire, Ricky Valero said: ‘If you were a fan of the first two seasons of The Lincoln Lawyer, you will love this season. The writers have found the best parts of Michael Connelly’s books and brought them to the small screen to develop a courtroom drama worthy of bingeing.’

Sherin Nicole noted in Riotus: ‘It’s clear why Netflix was quick to renew The Lincoln Lawyer…[its] ability to deliver headline-inspired cases and cracked-up but comforting characters, upended by pathos-laced arcs, makes it one to look forward to.’

Becki previously told Town & Country Magazine her role in The Lincoln Lawyer was unexpected: ‘On paper, I would not have guessed this is where I would’ve ended up.

‘I was always a fan of legal shows, but I never watched them thinking, “Oh, what would it be like to do one?”‘

However, now she views The Lincoln Lawyer, and the challenges of firing out legal jargon, as ‘an incredible gift to my career.’

Speaking about the third season, Becki, 46, said: ‘I think people are going to be shocked. It’s very clear that with these characters, there are so many more stories to tell.

‘I want to do more and see what happens to Lorna. It’s unbelievable how many different places it can go.’

The Lincoln Lawyer is available to stream on Netflix.
