The fashion fan said: “British Vogue are on Vinted and they’re selling pieces from shoots, from their wardrobe at sensational prices.”
He first showed off the gorgeous virgin wool Calvin Klein coat featured on their Vinted page which was sold for just £170.
According to fashion pros at The Real Real, the coat cost over £2,100 when it first came on the market.
British Vogue has revealed they’re partnering up with Vinted this October to sell their closet and donate the money to Oxfam, so you’ll be helping out a good cause too.
Also on offer was a Molly Goddard sweater vest for just £95 when her pieces usually sell for around £400.
Maison Margiela was also listed in a gorgeous distressed grey sweater vest for just £120 and even Dries van Noten pure wool jumpers for £220.
While the prices are still up there for some of the designer pieces, they have also offered more affordable brands such as French Connection, Reformation and Steve Madden.
Jamie noted that as these were from the wardrobes in Vogue’s office, you had no idea who else may have worn the pieces before, adding to the excitement.
He added: “I would love to see other magazines do it, because there is so much clothing in their wardrobes, in their press vault. I am sure.”
And it seemed people were all on board as every listing on their Vinted page has been sold.

Do you need to pay tax on items sold on Vinted?
QUICK facts on tax from the team at Vinted…
The only time that an item might be taxable is if it sells for more than £6,000 and there is profit (sells for more than you paid for it). Even then, you can use your capital gains tax-free allowance of £3,000 to offset it.
Generally, only business sellers trading for profit (buying goods with the purpose of selling for more than they paid for them) might need to pay tax. Business sellers who trade for profit can use a tax-free allowance of £1,000, which has been in place since 2017.
