Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6 day one update patch fixes multiplayer and Zombies-GameCentral-Entertainment – Metro

The first patch amongst many (Activision)

Black Ops 6 has only been out a few hours and it’s already had more than one patch, but so far there don’t seem to be any major issues with the new Call Of Duty.

As you’ve probably already noticed, there are no reviews for Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6 today, even though the game came out at midnight. That’s just how Activision wants things though, so while it’ll be a few days before the game’s qualities are fully understood what is available today is a day one patch.

That’s common nowadays, especially with a primarily multiplayer game, and while there don’t seem to be any major problems with the game at launch the update does address a number of very different issues.

The story campaign hasn’t had any major changes to it but in addition to the fixes below the Paypoint map has been taken out of Hardpoint map rotation, because of a spawning issue. Otherwise, developer Treyarch is describing the first patch as a ‘minor update’.

Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6 day one patch notes

Addressed an issue with stability when collecting Dog Tags in Kill Confirmed.

Addressed an issue with stability when using the Valkyrie Scorestreak.

Addressed an issue with stability when using the Vigilance perk.

Addressed an issue with stability when using the Smoke Grenade.

Addressed an issue with stability when using Emotes.

Addressed an issue with stability when Vermin would attack players.

Addressed an issue with stability during exfil.

Addressed an issue with stability when using High Contrast Mode.

Addressed an issue where loadout items may not follow you into game.

Added stability fixes for the Call of Duty UI and cross-launching to #MW3 on PC.

Added stability fixes for various GPU related crashes on PC.

Before the day one patch there was another even smaller update which also fixed the following problems:

Addressed an issue that prevented some players from setting Zombie Builds.

Addressed an issue that removed camos from Weapon Builds.

Addressed an issue where players would not receive a prompt to install the MW3 MP Package if it wasn’t installed prior to cross-launching in MW3.

Addressed an issue where players would sometimes see various stats in the Global leaderboards as 0 values. A fix for Friend leaderboards is in the works.

What still needs to be fixed in Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6?

One issues that hasn’t been addressed yet is that a lot of people are saying they can’t access the rewards they got from buying the Vault Edition, which is a pain given how much more expensive it was than the standard edition.

The fact that nothing has been changed about the story campaign is also suspicious, as while there’s been no reports of game-breaking bugs it’d be shocking if there weren’t at least some minor problems – but so far Treyarch hasn’t changed anything.

Black Ops 6 seems to have had a smooth launch (Activision)
