Former Strictly Come Dancing star Will Mellor has confirmed he completely stripped down for his latest TV project.
The actor, 48, is best known for his roles in shows like Hollyoaks, Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps, EastEnders, Coronation Street and in last year’s ITV drama Mr Bates vs The Post Office.
In 2022 he also made it to the semi-finals of Strictly, where he’d been paired with professional dancer Nancy Xu.
Now his latest series has seen him team up with long-time friend Ralf Little, embarking on a ‘laughter-packed mission to discover what aspects of modern life they’re getting right but are more often getting wrong’
The four-part factual series Will & Ralf Should Know Better sees the pair discover ‘how they can do life better as two middle-aged men in their 40s’.
Each episode sees them face challenges, with one notable being Will surprising Ralf with the news they will be performing with male strip troupe the Dreamboys.

However, both were shocked when learning they had to go fully naked on stage, which happened after they’d only had three hours to learn a routine and had been warned the live audience were ‘animals’.
Speaking about doing a striptease on stage in front of 2000 women during an appearance on This Morning on Tuesday, the pair joked about pushing themselves in this way.
‘The biggest mistake I made while being on stage with the Dreamboys was inviting my wife because she realised she had some regular old crackers,’ Will joked.
‘The problem is I thought they just danced. I didn’t know they got the willy’s out.’

Meanwhile Will responded after host Alison Hammond asked: ‘Do you go all the way?’
‘I thought it was very cold in the theatre and I think they would have felt disappointed by what they saw,’ he laughed.
During the episode Ralf spoke about feeling like he was ‘never really consulted on this’.
‘It appears that somehow, we are going to be removing all of our clothes. I am sort of sitting here wondering quite how that’s happened,’ he told the camera.
However, after completing the challenge Will said the experience was ‘unbelievable’ while Ralf called stripping on stage a ‘rush’.

Will also said that: ‘As you get older, I suppose you do lose your confidence a bit, but you have to try and battle that as much as you can.
‘You have to and do things that frighten you. It’s either one day or day one – that’s your life. Don’t wait, do it.’
Viewers also rushed to tell the actors how much they loved the show, with one fan posting on Instagram they ‘hadn’t laughed so much in years’ while tuning in.
Another said it was ‘the best TV series I’ve ever seen’.
Will & Ralf Should Know Better is streaming on U. This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV1.
