However, one shopper was left stunned when she went to check out the clothing selection in her local Tesco store.
The F&F collection is usually reasonably priced, so charlotte Clarkson was left stunned when she saw a co-ord set with eye-watering price tags.
The simple grey knit tracksuit looked like the perfect outfit to keep warm in winter but shoppers were stunned by the price.
The set itself cost £174 – yep you read that right.
The hoodie was £95 while the bottoms were £79 and made form 100% cashmere.
Charlotte wrote: “Have I died and come back to life, because since when has a matching set at Tesco cost £175?”
Cashmere is a fabric made from from cashmere goats which make around 200 -300 grams of the wool a year.
Because there is only so much being produced, the wool is rare and tends to be on the pricier side.
However, many like charlotte, believe if it costs that much it shouldn’t even be sold in the supermarket.
“Maybe it will be cheaper with a club card,” charlotte joked.
The clip soon went viral on her TikTok account @charlotteclarkson with over 963k views and 26k likes.
People were quick to take to the comments to share their thoughts.
One person wrote: “Even with my staff discount I couldn’t.”
Another commented: “Cashmere or not it’s still Tesco F&F.”

ZARA has become a high street staple in recent years thanks to its hot-off-the-catwalk designs and affordable prices. But recently those prices have risen with the brand’s popularity. However, if you are looking for high fashion inspired outfits with low price tags you needn’t drag yourself to your local shops, just head to the supermarket instead.F&F has come a long way from selling a few backs of T-shirts and fluffy dressing gowns and is now a must have shopping destination for thousands. They produce good quality, long lasting and on trend clothes that puts others to shame.F&F is filled with Zara dupes and other looks inspired by our favourite shops that will set you back less than £50 – and you can get them while you pick up your dinner.I for one love F&F denim, it’s durable, fits really well and has all the best silhouettes. So even if you’re not looking for reasonable prices but just want good clothes, get yourself to Tesco.
““Cashmere” this and that, it’s Tesco for Christ’s sake they shouldn’t be selling it,” penned a third.
Meanwhile others thought it was a reasonable price, a fourth said: “It’s Cashmere so that’s not a bad price!”
“It’s because it’s 100% cashmere,” claimed a fifth.
Someone else added: “Quality fabric composition will of course drive up price. Nice to see something that isn’t made of plastic on the rack for a change. Agree it seems nuts for it to be sold in tezzers though.”
