Bobby Lashley is officially All Elite and the Hurt Business is back.

The 48-year-old former WWE Champion, who left the company earlier this year and has been open about frustrations with his position, debuted on AEW Dynamite this week as he reunited with Shelton Benjamin and MVP.

There has been plenty of speculation about the All Mighty over the past few months, but now his future plans have been confirmed.

Benjamin beat Swerve Strickland in the main event, before MVP was seen making a call as the lights dropped.

New theme music hit and former world champion Lashley stepped out onto the ramp in a sharp suit and stage to a huge reaction from the AEW crowd.

The trio laid out Swerve and Prince Nana, leaving them lying in the middle of the ring, as MVP grabbed a microphone and shouted: ‘Guess who’s back in business?’

‘This is an ALL MIGHTY statement from ALL ELITE WRESTLING,’ wrote viewer @AshBradbury1993 on X, as fans reacted to the huge surprise at the end of Dynamite.

‘Business just picked up,’ quipped @KenshinRell, while @jjpf80 added: ‘That face to face off between swerve and Lashley gave me chills. That’s a money-making match.’

However, other fans complained about a production mistake in the moment, with a crew member audibly giving the stars a countdown to the show going off air.

‘That was a fun #AEWDynamite enjoyed Lashley coming out, but hearing a producer them yell 90 seconds and then 30 seconds kind of ruins the magic @AEW needs to keep an eye on that,’ wrote @NVious898.

‘Hilarious how you could hear an AEW crew member shouting “90 seconds!” to MVP and Lashley at the end of #AEWDynamite. 😂,’ tweeted @ffstoryman, as @Trent71q complained: ’90 seconds 30 seconds oh god shut up ….
Almost the ruined the moment lol 😂’

As a member of the US Army, Lashley initially excelled as an amateur wrestler, and first joined WWE in 2005, starting in Ohio Valley Wrestling before joining SmackDown that same year.

He left the company three years later and spent time on the independent scene and with IMPACT/TNA Wrestling, and returned to WWE in 2018.

One of his most famous matches came in 2007 at WrestleMania 23, when he represented Donald Trump in the Battle of the Billionaires against Umaga, who was wrestling for Vince McMahon, and won.

His debut now means three quarters of Hurt Business have joined AEW, but he, Benjamin and MVP are without Cedric Alexander, who is still part of WWE.

Benjamin previously insisted the group’s run was ‘cut short too soon’, saying the wrestlers themselves were just as frustrated as the fans.

‘I feel like there’s even to this day, there’s still so much more that Hurt Business could offer,’ he exclusively told Metro.co.uk. ‘We don’t make those calls. That was, you know, just a decision. And like I said, love it or hate it., just gotta live with it and move on.’

He added: ‘There was definitely conversation and planning for the Hurt Business to make a return. And then things just changed. They set dates, the dates changed and things changed. And then suddenly it was like, “Nope, we’re just not doing it. “‘
