A fan has captured the moment Jason Kelce lashed out at a heckler who used a homophobic slur to describe his brother Travis Kelce.

The footage, which has now gone viral with over 2.2million views, was posted to X last night and shows the former Philadelphia Eagles star walking through a large crowd of fans before lashing out at a heckler.

Taken outside of Beaver Stadium ahead of a game between Ohio State Buckeyes and Nittany Lions, Jason, 36, was swarmed by fans, most of whom appeared to have good intentions.

However, one person can be heard shouting out the star’s name to get his attention before making an offensive comment about Travis, 35 and his relationship with Taylor Swift.

‘Hey, Kelce,’ the person shouted. ‘How does it feel your brother’s a f****t dating Taylor Swift?’

After realising what the heckler had said, Jason swiftly turned around to confront the person and grabbed a phone out of the heckler’s hands before throwing it on the ground.

‘Looked like a Penn State student was getting in Kelce’s face for no reason,’ the X user who posted the video wrote alongside it. ‘Wild scene in State College’, they added.

Since the initial video was posted, more have started to circulate, with an additional clip showing the moment Jason aggressively grabbed the heckler’s phone out of their hand and threw it on the ground.

He then appeared to pick it back up again and walk off with it, prompting the heckler to say: ‘Give me my phone, bro’, to which Jason turned around and said something. It’s unclear what was said.

The incident has shocked fans, with many torn between the heckler’s offensive comments and Jason’s reaction.

A Sweetie Cat wrote on X: ‘Most celebrities would’ve just kept walking and not given it this kind of attention… a couple hundred would’ve heard it out of the millions and millions of people who will now’.

While Love Story Liz said: ‘good for Jason!’

‘You’ve gotta be an idiot to think you can take on pro athletes, especially football players,’ Pritimahesmodi commented.

KayJolly2 said: ‘I wish I had a caring big brother like Jason Kelce. Especially one with Jason’s heart, reflexes, focus, aim, precision, speed, and power.’

The heckler’s comments were regarding Travis’ more than year-long romance with Taylor, 34.

After meeting mid-2023, the pair kept their relationship on the low for many months before the Love Story singer was spotted supporting the Kansas City Chiefs’ tight end at a game.

While many fans believed it was a first date of sorts for the couple, Taylor later revealed in an interview with Time magazine she would ‘never be psychotic enough’ to do something so publicly.

‘This all started when Travis very adorably put me on blast on his podcast, which I thought was metal as hell, she said. ‘We started hanging out right after that. So we actually had a significant amount of time that no one knew, which I’m grateful for, because we got to get to know each other.

‘By the time I went to that first game, we were a couple. I think some people think that they saw our first date at that game? We would never be psychotic enough to hard launch a first date.’

They have since gone from strength to strength and are often seen supporting one another, either at Travis’s games or at Taylor’s Eras Tour shows, with the footballer even joining her on stage right here in London.

Metro has requested comment from Jason’s representatives.
