Harper Beckham melted her mum and the crowd’s hearts with her sweet speech celebrating Victoria Beckham’s fashion world achievements.
Harper – 13-year-old daughter to power couple Posh Spice and footballer David Beckham – took to the stage at the Harper’s Bazaar Women of the Year 2024 awards to present her mum with the Entrepreneur of the Year award.
The award, presented at Claridge’s on Tuesday, honoured her ‘innovation and dedication to the British and global fashion industry’ including her self-titled fashion brand.
Harper was the youngest presenter for the night and immediately captured the audience with her natural charm and funny quips.
‘I’m so nervous!’ she candidly opened her speech which garnered some ‘awwing’ from the crowd.
She continued: ‘Good evening, everyone. I’m so excited to be here presenting the Entrepreneur of the Year award, especially as tonight is a school night. And hopefully this isn’t going to get me into trouble.
‘The winner is someone I have always looked up to,” she added. “She’s built an incredible business from the ground up, and shown me the value of working hard, dreaming big and setting my standards.
‘She’s taught me so much about what it takes to succeed. But above all else, she’s taught me to always be kind and even though she has a million things to do, she rarely misses the school run.
‘Tonight I am so proud to present the Entrepreneur Of The Year award to a truly inspiring woman who means the world to me, my amazing mummy, Victoria Beckham.’
Victoria then ascended the stage filled with pride at her daughter’s crowd-pleasing speech and heartfelt words.
‘I am so, so proud of you. I mean, getting up on stage in front of a room full of people is scary, and you did it with such poise and such elegance.’
She then praised the youngest Beckham sibling for the ‘incredible young lady’ she had become and for keeping her ‘grounded’ and ‘inspired’ every day.

Victoria continued: ‘You teach me to see the world through fresh eyes. And as busy as I am, being a mum is the most important job to me, and what I am most proud of. So thank you.’
The beautiful mother-daughter exchange raised plenty of applause of love from the crowd.
The duo also stunned on the red carpet, with Victoria wearing an ivory silk suit with a tie wrapped around her waist. Harper matched in a floor-length silk gown.
Elsewhere in the evening, Nicola Coughlan picked up the award for television acting and gave a poignant shoutout to the Spice Girl alum in her thank you speech.
The Bridgerton star said: ‘When I was a little girl, my favourite pop star was my favourite pop star for a number of reasons. She was inherently cool. She had this brunette bob that I immediately got cut into my own hair and she was so funny.
‘She was so deeply funny, so quick. And her line delivery of “And I’m Victoria, Malcolm”, that is genuinely one of the best line deliveries of the 20th century.
‘She’s just amazing, you are my favourite, you’ve always been my favourite.’

She added that she admired Victoria’s ‘tenacity’ and was ‘horrified’ after watching a documentary about the Spice Girls in her adulthood which showed the ‘amount of bulls**t you dealth with’.
Before paying homage to the importance of female role models in the media, as Victoria served for her growing up.
After the major success of Netflix’s documentary, Beckham, about the life of the former England footballer, Victoria is set to get the same treatment.
It will follow the media personality over her time in the spotlight ‘from Spice Girls superstardom in the ‘90s to modern fashion maven’.
The synopsis added: ‘Her Posh Spice days may be behind her, but today Beckham is on a journey to build a fashion empire — and now, fans will be able to see the story behind it all.’
And offers ‘exclusive access to Victoria, her family, and those closest to her’ and get ‘up and personal with the former pop star as she juggles her business and family life’.
