It has been reported that Taylor Swift’s boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs footballer Travis Kelce, was the victim of a burglary last month.

The football player’s $6 million (£4.7 million) Leawood, Kansas mansion was broken into on October 7.

Sources informed TMZ that the break-in was reported on October 8 but no further details were available about whether anything was taken.

It is thought that Kelce, 35, wasn’t the only target, with reports suggesting fellow Kansas City Chiefs player, Patrick Mahomes’ home was also burglarised.

Some sources have suggested to TMZ that the activities could be linked and part of a larger crime spree in the area.

On the same day the burglary took place, Taylor watched Travis as the Chiefs played the Saints in a Monday Night Football matchup at Arrowhead Stadium, Kansas City, Missouri.

Taylor, 34, looked stunning at the event in a matching plaid corset and skirt, paired with knee-high boots and glitter freckles.

The couple were first open about their relationship to the public in September 2023, and since this time have supported one another at football games and tour dates.

It is thought that Travis moved into his Leawood estate after his relationship with Swift went public.

Taylor Swift is currently on the final leg of her Eras Tour in North America, but took a break between performances to support Travis at the Arrowhead Stadium on November 10.

The singer has seen Travis play 17 times across this season and last season, and was first snapped in the VIP box supporting the star in 2023.

She is set to perform in Toronto on November 14, 15, and 16, the penultimate stop before the grand finale.

The record-breaking tour will conclude next month in December in Vancouver, Canada.
