I’m A Celebrity star Danny Jones has sparked concern after he admitted he had not changed in his boxers in four days.

That means the McFly star is still wearing the same pants he was wearing when he arrived in the jungle alongside the likes of GK Barry on Sunday.

They are also the same pair an over-friendly snake curled up in when the 38-year-old tackled the ITV show’s first task.

The All About You singer’s revelation disgusted viewers on social media – who were left reaching for the sick bucket.

Among them was X user @Caz780477450492, who warned: ‘Danny will have willy rot if he don’t change his pants the whole series. #ImACeleb.’

@Kiralouise2023 said appalled: ‘Announcing to the public that you haven’t changed your boxers in 5 days is GRIM and I’m throwing up. #ImACeleb.’

A disgusted @iamterron, commented: Danny ain’t changed his boxers since he got there?! Nah that’s raw you know?! #ImACeleb #imacelebrity.’

@HannahBatt3rsby also exclaimed: ‘Can’t believe Danny is still wearing the same boxers 4 days later #ImACeleb.’

The Obviously singer brought up his hygiene – or lack thereof- when the likes of Coleen Rooney were discussing their showering habits.

‘Since it’s rained I’ve not washed,’ Danny volunteered.

‘Don’t fight it, just stink! What do spiders do? They don’t get up and shower, do they? They just go: “I’m gonna go out for the day”.’

Unbothered about offending his campmates’ noses, Danny continued: ‘I’ve not changed my boxers that I had a snake on…’

Disgusted, GK had some advice for Danny: ‘Before you go back to your wife, you’re gonna need to disinfect!’

However, he thrilled Dean McCullough when he revealed about McFly: We have a communal little shower or bath after a gig.”

Dean jumped straight in with: ‘Make sure you set those tickets up for me, I’ll be right there!’

Later in the Bush Telegraph, the BBC Radio 1 DJ joked: ‘Danny Jones, Danny Jones! I definitely want those tickets to your tour next year and it’s going to have to be access all areas now.’

On Sunday, an enormous snake slide into Danny’s short while he faced a trial with boxing legend Barry McGuigan.

In the Mausoleum of Misery, the duo were tasked with making their way through locked chambers filled with snakes in which they had to find the codes to unlock five padlocks – with five stars up for grabs.

‘I’ve got a snake up my shorts!’ Danny yelled, with host Declan Donnelly remarking:’That is what’s known here as a trouser snake’.

An animal handler came in to assist Danny as he pulled down his shorts to reveal the large reptile nestled in there.

Danny and Barry join the likes of Coleen Rooney, former Strictly professional Oti Mabuse, and Coronation Street’s Alan Halsall in the jungle.

The popstar has become a favourite to win this year’s show, topping bookies’ odds and also convincing former Pointless host Richard Osman.
