This Morning presenter Alison Hammond couldn’t keep her laughter in during Charlotte Church’s ‘relaxing’ soundbath – and fans are obsessed.

The 38-year-old singer appeared on This Morning to promote her Welsh retreat, The Dreaming through the medium of a ethereal soundbath – which quickly backfired.

Charlotte and her husband Jonathan Powell used a variety of instruments, including an Ocean Drum, to lull hosts Alison and Dermot O’Leary into a relaxed state over the course of two minutes.

But as they two minute soundbath got started Charlotte began singing as well which promptly triggered some giggling from Alison.

The Bake Off host attempted to stifle her laughs, unsuccessfully, and soon enough even Charlotte had clocked onto the fact that she was chuckling her way through the segment.

The camera did plenty of zooming into her face so viewers could see her battle to maintain some semblance of composure.

Alison seemed remorseful at not being able to appreciate the soundbath, as Charlotte reassured her.

And she even admitted afterwards that she felt ‘really rude’ laughing at Charlotte’s display but didn’t realise she was going to start singing. And said that she did find the practice ‘beautiful’.

Alison’s chaotic behaviour also delighted fans who couldn’t stop laughing right along with her.

‘Alison IS SO REAL, love it,’ @smally106 posted on X.

‘Alison giggling through Charlotte Church’s sound bath warbling and Charlotte clocking her doing it, is the best thing I’ve seen all week,’ @karenlovesGB added.

‘Alison cracking up at Charlotte church humming is absolutely sending me,’ user Alkaselsa agreed.

‘I just turned the tv on and OMG! This is nuts,’ @pedenan said.

‘Ok Alison cracking up is definitely doing it for me,’ @r3tro8oy wrote.

‘Never change Alison Hammond,’ @burtenshaw_sam declared.

‘I’m spiritual but Alison is cracking me up,’ @londonlad6699 echoed.

Although some fans did slam Alison as ‘rude’and noted she was ‘probably not the best person to be trying this with’.

Alison is all to familiar with getting herself into various shenanigans on TV, not least on Bake Off recently which she co-presents with Noel Fielding.

Earlier this month, she shocked viewers when she dramatically fell off Bake Off worktop after trying to dance for the bakers in the tent.

She eventually ended up face first on the floor, attempting to hide from the camera.

As for Charlotte, earlier this year she told Closer she is ‘not a millionaire’ anymore and needed to needed to put her £1.5million mansion on sale.

”What mattered to me when I bought The Spinney is it was absolutely beautiful and close to the forest and it was a big mansion house,’ she told the publication.

‘We had a school there for a bit and a studio. When it is used by the community, it makes sense, but when it is not used, it doesn’t. We want to be in the mainframe and be involved in life and what it feels like.’

This Morning airs Monday to Friday at 10am on ITV.
