Influencer slammed as ‘tacky’ as she turns up at a wedding with her underwear on show – do you think she pulls it off?
AN influencer has been slammed as ‘tacky’ and ‘attention seeking’ after she showed off her very revealing wedding guest look.
Her sheer dress has sparked a debate online about what is really appropriate wedding attire as some say she looked ‘stylish’ but others reckon the risque look was ‘insane’.

Jade Yarbrough forked out £500 on the flowing light blue dress from Australian brand Carla Zampatti to wear to her friend’s big day.
The outfit – which is sold in three pieces, a pair of “full briefs” for £50, a £200 “mesh bodysuit” and a £250 statement skirt –was paired the with a pair of classic black heels and a clutch.
But the ensemble divided opinions on Instagram after showed it off in a series of posts with her 17.6k followers.
“Not appropriate and just trying to seek attention,” one person slammed after seeing the her look on Facebook.
A second had similar thoughts and said: “It’s tacky, trashy.”
“Revolting grab for attention,” a third chimed in.
That said, comments on Jade’s Instagram post were more positive with many appreciating her fashion risk.
One complimentary follower gushed: “Oh my gosh that outfit! Absolute perfection.”
“Girl this dress,” a second wrote.
And a third agreed: “Love this.”
It seems the bride didn’t have a problem with the see-through outfit though, since she also commented on her Instagram post.
“Thank you for coming to celebrate with us! what an incredible weekend, feeling the love,” she wrote.
And notable, she wasn’t the only guest to opt for a sheer outfit, as she posed next to fellow influencer Bernadette Fahey who wore a green lace midi dress.
Much like Jade’s, the green dress left little to the imagine with the sheer lace laying over a matching green strapless bodysuit.
Jade isn’t the first person to cause a stir with the blue sheer dress through.
Married at First Sight star Jules Robinson also donned the gown to the 2024 Marie Claire Women of the Year Awards in Sydney, but opted for a nude bra rather than the lacey blue one Jade wore.
The 41-year-old received loads of compliments, and fans were quick to defend her if anyone had anything negative to say.
“I find it so interesting that so many women felt that they could comment their opinions on your dress,” one wrote.
