It looks like Dr Disrespect is poised to make a real comeback, with his new home going as far as to put him in charge of its gaming division.

Over the summer, streaming personality Guy ‘Dr Disrespect’ Beahm was accused of sending inappropriate messages to a minor during his time at Twitch; something he later admitted to, only to delete his confession soon afterwards.

Given he’s already been banned from Twitch, YouTube has demonetised his videos, and even Kick is refusing to work with him, it might have seemed Beahm was out of viable options to continue being a streamer.

However, Beahm had previously claimed he had big plans in the works, and it appears he wasn’t exaggerating. Not only has he found a new platform to call home, but he’s even been enlisted to help run it.

Where will Dr Disrespect be streaming?

Starting on December 2, Beahm will exclusively stream via Rumble, where he’ll provide both free content and exclusive content for Rumble Premium subscribers.

As for his new managerial role, a post on Rumble’s website says he will lead its Rumble Gaming division, ‘acting as an advisor and helping to build the Rumble Gaming community.’

Rumble CEO Chris Pavlovski appeared to express an interest in working with Beahm before, and he now believes the streamer will help expand Rumble’s reach in the gaming space.

‘Rumble is in a new era, and I’m laser-focused on expanding into two categories: gaming and crypto,’ explains Pavlovski. ‘Dr Disrespect will give a much-needed injection into our gaming category.’

Given the severity of the allegations made against Beahm, it seems like a risky move to not only let him stream on Rumble but to be part of leadership.

After all, even the game developer he helped found, Midnight Society, severed ties with him, and other prominent streamers didn’t hesitate to call Beahm out once his hiatus ended, including former friends of his.

Rumble’s decision makes more sense when you remember the site is popular in far-right circles. According to The Wall Street Journal, it’s seen investments from the likes of JD Vance, the current Vice President elect and Donald Trump’s running mate during his presidential campaign.

It’s also hosted other controversial figures like Andrew Tate, who has also faced allegations of having sexual relations with a minor, as well as human trafficking.

While it’s still early days, Rumble is hardly going to regret its choice when, according to Bloomberg, shares in the company have risen by 17% once news of Beahm’s hiring broke, increasing the site’s market value by $220 million (roughly £175 million).
