The Fugees are officially no more as Pras Michel quits the band after suing bandmate Lauryn Hill over their cancelled tour.
Earlier this year, Pras, 52, launched legal action against the 49-year-old singer for fraud and breach of contract as they shortened their 2023 tour.
The decision was also made to cancel the Miseducation Anniversary concert series in the US, although dates in the UK and Europe were scheduled to go ahead.
Pras, real name is Prakazrel Samuel Michel, has declared he is ‘done’ with the 90s group which also includes Wyclef Jean, 55.
The trip to Europe posed an issue as the Ready or Not hitmaker is currently banned from travelling internationally after he was convicted on 10 counts of corruption.
Currently, he is awaiting sentencing over the scandal which involves the $4.5billion (£3.5billion) looting of Malaysia’s sovereign wealth fund, 1MDB.

In an interview with Variety, Pras shared: ‘I’m done with that. They’re going to Europe [to tour]. I can’t go, so. It’s what it is. You can’t give people that kind of energy.’
He is potentially facing more than 20 years in prison, but said he believes in his ‘path’ and ‘journey’.
Pras continued: ‘So you could be frustrated, you could be disappointed, but I really believe in my path and in my journey, and I believe what’s mine, no one’s going to be able to take it away from me.
‘So it’s better that you have a small group of people who really believe in you and believe in what you’re doing than to have 100 people around you, and the minute something happens — boom. People just disappear.’

The legal case comes after Pras accused Lauryn of having ‘grossly mismanaged the set-up, marketing and budgeting of’ the 2023 tour,
In his lawsuit, he claimed it was ‘actually a veiled and devious attempt to make a big score for herself.’
As part of the fraud claims, he also alleged a ‘breach of fiduciary duty and refusal to permit an audit’ and stated Lauryn had overblown the budget.
Last month Variety reported the lawsuit stated the tour was ‘so bloated with unnecessary and, most likely fictitious, expenses, that it seemed designed to lose money’.
In addition to this, he claimed his bandmate did not inform the group when she turned down a $5million offer to play Coachella, meaning he missed out on a payday.
In response to the ‘desperate and unfortunate’ lawsuit, Lauryn’s lawyer, Howard King, claimed it was ‘packed with lies and intentionally disparaging remarks.’
