I’m A Celebrity star Oti Mabuse got candid about her work-life balance with plans to leave pro dancing behind to raise her family.
ITV presenting duo Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly guided viewers through yet another episode of gag-inducing food challenges and emotional conversations.
During the episode, Strictly’s Oti reflected on her work-life balance as a professional dancer with a growing family.
She gave birth to her daughter at the end of 2023 with plans to have another baby ‘next year’.
‘Because I’m a dancer, it was really difficult to say when I would start having a family because my body is my job and also you have to be financially ready,’ she told campmate Coleen Rooney.
Before revealing a big question mark over her future career as she shifts her focus on being a full-time mum.

She continued: ‘Eventually I’ll have to give all of this up and just dedicate my life to them,’ which Coleen voiced her support for.
Oti added: ‘I think there’s this preconceived notion that when you’re a housewife you’ve got no ambition or it’s easy for you.’
The mother-of-one also shared that she ‘found it difficult’ not to let the trolling get to her when she was criticised for going on Dancing On Ice when her daughter was eight weeks.
Coleen voiced her solidarity, adding: ‘On the outside world you can’t win, everyone has got an opinion. I always say don’t take it to heart because every individual is different.’
Fans shared their love for the candid conversation about motherhood online.
‘This is such an important topic for these two to discuss. There is always so judgment on mums whatever they do,’ @emilyroseon posted on X.
‘Women are judged so much for having OR NOT having children… Be supportive. End of,’ @kayleigh_iot added.
‘I adore Oti, she is a queen and should be protected at all costs,’ @raymurr shared.
It comes after Oti opened up about the ‘hell’ she went through giving birth to her daughter prematurely earlier this week. She was promptly supported by fans and campmates alike.

Elsewhere, Tulisa and Reverend Richard Coles put themselves forward for the Bushtucker trial, this time facing the Jungle TV Dinners.
The successful task involved the pair flicking through streaming service Jungle on Demand and picking episodes to land on that would come with a meal attached such as ‘Love Eye-land’, ‘Britain’s Snot talent’, ‘Reek-y blinders’.
Notably no contestant was booted from the jungle tonight.
Last night, Jane Moore, 62, was eliminated. When she heard the news of her premature axing, she replied: ‘Hard work does not get rewarded,’ while hugging her fellow celebrities.
She then reflected on her ‘weird and magical’ time on the show and reiterated her grievance over Danny Jones and Barry McGuigan’s decision to have Jane clean the cutlery, calling it ‘sexist’ and ‘ageist’.
The media personality then threw her support behind Coleen Rooney and Melvin Odoom to win, adding: ‘They keep everything going. They are not flamboyant, but they get it done.’

She then reunited with her daughter Grace as she crossed the bridge away from the camp.
Her presence was missed in today’s episode, with Tulisa saying: ‘It already kinda feels strange, there’s no Jane, you can feel it and that’s only going to continue to happen and it’s not nice.
‘We don’t want our little jungle family broken up!’
For the remaining contestants everything is still to play for with plenty of disturbing and horrifying challenges ahead to prove themselves and win the audience over.
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! continues tomorrow at 9pm on ITV1, STV and ITVX.
