Maura Higgins admits to ‘seeing’ a famous celebrity amid Pete Wicks rumours-Laura Harman-Entertainment – Metro

I’m A Celebrity star Maura Higgins has admitted that she is ‘seeing’ someone famous as she was quizzed by her campmates on the show.

The former Love Island contestant, 34, admitted on the show on Sunday night that she was ‘missing’ a man she was seeing.

The TV personality confessed that she was seeing someone before she came into the jungle but ‘didn’t know the rules’ as she confirmed she’s single.

When Reverend Richard Coles apologised for putting her on the spot and followed up by asking if they were ‘exclusive’, Maura replied: ‘I don’t know.’

Dean McCullough then asked the star: ‘Does it feel different this time?’

‘It does, but then is it because we’ve known each other for a long time?’ she said.

The Reverend then said: ‘You’d know if he was an asshole or not, by now.’

‘Yeah, he’s not an asshole,’ Maura replied.

Maura has previously been linked to Strictly Come Dancing contestant and The Only Way is Essex TV star Pete Wicks.

The pair were spotted kissing in public after it was claimed they’d shared a smooch at the Pride of Britain Awards afterparty last week.

In some photos, the pair looked pretty loved up, enjoying a kiss after a date in east London.

Maura was seen with her arms around Pete, 35, as they cuddled, and he kissed her cheek and ear.

Pete was rumoured to be dating his Strictly professional dance partner Jowita Przystal.

Pete denied the romantic relationship and confirmed: ‘We have great chemistry because we’ve become such good friends.’

Before competing on the show Maura confirmed that she was single.

The Irish star, who was pictured growing close to Strictly’s Pete Wicks,at the time confirmed: ‘I am single at the moment, but honestly no one is going to fancy me in the jungle. Trust me.’

Since she has entered the jungle, Pete has used his social media accounts to encourage fans to vote to keep Maura in the jungle and win the show.

At the beginning of the episode, it seemed that Melvin was having a tough time as he got drenched by the rain during the night.

Things took an emotional turn later in the episode as they all received letters from home and shed a few tears after being separated from their loved ones for such a long time.
