Forget Christmas TV adverts from the likes of John Lewis or Marks and Spencer, this year Dragons’ Den stars have won the assignment.

In 2022, Eddie Fisher and Matt Kennedy bowled over the Dragons with their pitch for eco-friendly natural refillable deodorant brand Fussy.

Deborah Meaden and Peter Jones were both desperate to go into business with the pair, eventually agreeing to share a 5% for a £50,000 investment.

In the two years since, Fussy has gone from strength to strength, having been sampled by the likes of Holly Willoughby, and now it’s entering the Christmas TV advert market.

Spoiler: it sleighed.

In the ad, a young boy becomes suspicious that Father Christmas isn’t real when he notices the scent lingering around his presents is the same as his father’s.

A look of deep concern washes over both his parents’ faces as they fear he’s about to ruin Christmas day before an unexpected twist reveals the reason for that lingering Santa-esque scent…

The real Father Christmas did in fact visit his home in the early hours – but as well as dropping off his gifts he also enjoyed a menage a trois with his parents in their bed.

Unveiling Fussy’s new festive scented deodorant Lost Claus, the advert ends with the kicker: ‘Smell like Santa without seeing with him.’

When pitching Fussy on Dragons’ Den two years ago, a clash erupted between Steven Bartlett and Touker Suleyman.

Touker had claimed he could recreate the business ‘for 100 grand tomorrow, easy’.

At this declaration, Steven tilted his head in confusion before rebuking the notion that his co-star could copy Fussy’s product with such ease.

‘I don’t think that Touker or any of us could create this with £100k,’ he stated.

‘Test me,’ Touker responded confidently, adding: ‘Test me. You said I can’t do it. Test me.’

Touker has yet to launch a natural deodorant brand.
