After almost three weeks in the Australian jungle, the end is in sight for our I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! campmates.
However, not everyone can make the 2024 final, which meant not one, but two stars were eliminated tonight just days before the next King or Queen of the Jungle is crowned.
Until tonight, eight celebrities remained in camp: Coleen Rooney, Danny Jones, Oti Mabuse, Maura Higgins, Reverend Richard Coles, GK Barry, Alan Halsall, and Barry McGuigan.
Alas, time was up for champion boxer Barry and Love Island alum Maura, who became the fifth and sixth campmates to walk across the bridge.
After hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly revealed their fate, the pair said emotional goodbyes to their Jungle family before heading up to the studio for a chat about their highlights.
Speaking in his exit interview with the Geordie duo, Barry, 63, said he was ‘gutted’ to have missed out on Celebrity Cyclone.

‘I’m kinda disappointed,’ he said. ‘But I’ve had an incredible time.’
On whether his Jungle stint was anything like what he expected, the sportsman said it was ‘much tougher’ than he could’ve anticipated.
‘What I found most difficult was the food. Not having food, not having any condiments, salt, pepper… you take these things for granted.’
Barry also spoke about his special bond with pop star Danny, which has well and truly warmed viewers’ hearts.
‘All my kids are around the same age as him, so I can relate to him, and he’s just such a lovely, great guy,’ he praised.
Barry also predicted that Danny, who has hailed him as a father figure, will win the show.

His and Maura’s shock double elimination comes after the identity of one semi-finalist was confirmed after producers introduced an unexpected and controversial twist.
Last night, Ant and Dec announced that, over the next two days, the campmates would all be competing to win a ticket to the trial everyone wants to do: Celebrity Cyclone.
This also guaranteed the winner immunity from the next two vote-offs as well as a coveted place in the finale.
After McFly’s Danny, TV personality Coleen, Love Islander Maura, and Strictly pro Oti battled it out in the final round tonight as the top 4, it was Oti who emerged victorious.
Their final game at the Arcade of Agony saw the foursome play Battle Blocks, which involved assembling plastic blocks into a perfect shape in a grid while battling against unwelcome critters.

Oti was the first to press the golden buzzer, granting her the ticket to Cyclone as confetti showered her.
Dec remarked after her win: ‘Oti! That was incredible!’
Ant added: ‘Absolutely brilliant.’
Her fellow celebrities clapped and congratulated her, with a very happy Oti grinning: ‘It feels amazing, I’ve got to wash my underwear more now!’
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! continues tomorrow at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
