So if you’ve still got your office night out to go, or dinner and drinks with pals, then you might want to take notes.
And there’s still time to hit the high street or supermarket for a new outfit.
Here, Giorgio reveals what to avoid…
The Christmas tree look
Giorgio says: “It might seem obvious, but wearing red and green together is a no-go – especially at Christmas. You’ll end up looking like a festive decoration or elf rather than a party guest.”
Instead. he advises fashion fans to “leave their novelty sweaters at home”.
“Opt for more refined colours like deep metallics or jewel tones” he added.
“If you’re set on wearing either red or green, then choose one. An emerald dress or deep red blouse paired with neutral accessories will provide a balanced look.”
Ditch the sequins
This one might cause some upset, but Giorgio has argued that the popular sequins dresses and outfits can look cheap.
He said: “Sparkle might be synonymous with this time of year, but too much can be tacky.
“If you do want a dazzling look, then try metallic fabrics like silk or lurex blends. They give you the same shine but with more sophistication, and you won’t look like Christmas lights.
“For a show-stopping outfit, consider a dress or jumpsuit in gold, silver or bronze. It’s festive and very elegant.”
Pay attention to accessories.
Next up, Giorgio has insisted that accessories can “make or break an outfit”.
He told Fabulous: “My best advice is to start with a chic black clutch. It’s versatile and always in style.
“Then, consider shoes. Heels are always a good option, but choose wisely. If you’re going to be dancing all night, opt for a manageable heel height that means you’re comfortable and confident.
“When it comes to jewellery, gold and silver are timeless choices. Dark outfits look great with contrasting statement earrings or a sparkling necklace.
“And equally, these can be paired with a light-coloured look for subtle glamour. Less is always more, so don’t pile everything on!”

Think beyond the LBD
Finally, a little black dress is an essential in every woman’s wardrobe.
But Giorgio has urged Christmas fanatics to “branch out” when it comes to a special festive bash.
He saud: “They [LBDs] might be a festive staple, but relying on them too much can mean your style is predictable.
“Instead, branch out and opt for vibrant options in bold colours and rich textures like satin and velvet.”
He added: “Finally, remember that fashion should be fun – especially at this time of year.
“Just remember to skip the Christmas cliches, embrace elegance and by following these tips you can make this festive season your most stylish yet.”
