Paris Jackson has announced her engagement to Justin Long around two years after they started dating.

The 26-year-old – daughter of Michael Jackson – confirmed their happy news on Instagram, while celebrating her new fiancé’s  birthday.

Nestled in a series of intimate snaps from their romance so far, her bandmate could be seen getting down on one knee in front of an opulent room.

Other snaps showed Justin – aka ‘Blue’ – sliding a huge engagement ring onto the musician’s finger, and the pair embracing after the sweet moment.

‘Happy birthday my sweet Blue,’ Paris captioned the post. ‘Doing life with you these last years has been an indescribable whirlwind and I couldn’t dream of anyone more perfect for me to do it all with.

‘Thank you for letting me be yours. I love you.’

In the pictures, which were also shared on her Instagram story, Paris was dressed casually in denim shorts, a beige jumper and knee-high black boots, completing the look with a tan hat.

While Justin looked dapper in a white shirt and smart black trousers, paired with black shoes.

Although it is not clear when the proposal took place, fans rushed to congratulate the lovebirds on their engagement in the comments below.

Paris and Justin were first linked in 2022, but they have kept most of their relationship firmly behind closed doors.

She previously dated her former bandmate, Gabriel Glenn, before their split in 2020 – which she described as the ‘deepest heartbreak’ she had ever experienced at the time.

Speaking to Willow Smith on Red Table Talk months after they went their separate ways, she said of the two-year romance: ‘It was the deepest I ever loved someone.

‘It was the most intense I’ve felt so far and the most intense betrayal I felt so far and experienced.

‘It’s definitely closed me off to that, I’m very careful with who I spend time with now and very guarded and trying to protect myself.’

After the break-up, she was romantically linked to Emile Hirsch, but called out the speculation on social media, explaining that she enjoys ‘the company of people of all ages’.
