Disney influencer Dominique Brown, 34, dies after allergic reaction at festive event-Laura Harman-Entertainment – Metro

Disney influencer Dominique Brown has died at the age of 34 after reportedly having an allergic reaction at a holiday event.

The Disney enthusiast, best known as HellooDomo to her 18.4k followers on social media, reportedly ate something that she was allergic to while at a festive event hosted by BoxLunch Los Angeles.

It has been reported that the influencer asked if the food contained the ingredient she was allergic to, but was told it did not.

Following her death, the influencer’s brother Patrick Ramos released a statement: ‘I wanted to take a moment to say thank you to her social media fam for showing her so much love and light,’ he wrote. 

‘Disney did bring her joy, but it was unparalleled that she found a community who loved her and Disney as much as she did. 

‘I will miss my sister and best friend and that infectious smile she always had. Thank you, truly, from the bottom of my heart.’

The influencer was invited to various events, most recently sharing photos with her fans from the premiere of Moana 2. Last month she also travelled to Disney World Resort and posted several images of her trip with her thousands of fans.

Fans have been devastated by the news of her death, many leaving tributes to the star.

‘I’ve just been sitting here thinking of what to say because I can’t process that you aren’t here. Thank you for creating and holding space for all of Black Disney girls. I hope you know you that you are so deeply loved and will be profoundly missed. Love you so so much,’ said takeabreathwithalexis.

‘The kindest most genuine person in this community …we will miss you Domo💛Thank you for touching our lives with your joy & wit & for being so incredibly welcoming to us all🤍🕊️,’ said dapperonthedaily.

‘I truly cannot believe this. I’m so heartbroken right now. I’m so sorry, Domo. I’m gonna miss you so much!! Love you, angel,’ said gabbyjaye.

Her death has sparked anger from many fans who are upset that the influencer was allegedly assured that the food was safe for her.

Fans are seeking ‘justice’ for the late influencer.
