Tulisa Contostavlos has given a new update after mysteriously vanishing from Australia and appearing to ditch her I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! campmates.

The N-Dubz star was the third campmate eliminated, shocking viewers as many believed she would be in the final.

The former X Factor judge, 36, then suddenly deleted all posts from her Instagram page, which her friend took charge of while she was on TV and cut off from social media.

After Tulisa also failed to appear on spin-off show, I’m A Celebrity… Unpacked, the following day, it emerged that she had actually flown home.

After releasing a video last week explaining her absence, she has now send a message to her former campmates saying she’s ‘sorry’ she can’t be there with them.

‘Looking back at some of my favourite moments from the @Imacelebrity jungle. It’s been a whirlwind. Thank you to @itv for the experience and sending so much love to my Jungle Fam before the final tonight. Sorry I can’t be there to celebrate with you all ❤️,’ she captioned a post on Instagram with photographs of her time in the jungle.

Posting images of her time is a major move from the star after she deleted images showing her time in the jungle.

Speculation has since been rife over whether Tulisa had bad blood with any of the cast, which she denied in a video, stating she simply felt ‘overwhelmed’ by the attention after years out of the spotlight and needed to take some time away to process everything.

Now, a spokesperson has given further clarification on the situation, shutting down reports of any beef between Tulisa and Michelle McKenna, who had been running Tulisa’s Instagram while she was in camp.

‘The truth of the matter is that Tulisa was struggling with her mental health, which is what she told fans,’ said the statement.

‘She wanted to be back at home, with her close friends and home comforts, and after a meeting with ITV, it was agreed by all parties that this would be the best thing for her.

‘It’s nothing more than that, despite what people are saying.’

They added that ‘ITV have offered her a full duty of care package and she’ll be back to her best in no time.’

Tulisa’s spokesperson also quashed rumours of a heated row between Tulisa and Michelle, telling The Mirror: ‘There has been absolutely no fallout between Tulisa and her best friend Michelle.

‘They haven’t argued once since Tulisa left the jungle. Michelle, in fact, travelled back to London with Tulisa.’

‘The decision for Tulisa to return home to the UK was agreed to by the production for welfare reasons,’ they added, insisting that any further reports have been ‘fabricated’.

As well as firmly denying a row between Tulisa and Michelle, her spokesperson clarified why she doesn’t follow Reverend Richard Coles on Instagram, despite following the other celebs.

‘Her team never followed him while she was in the Jungle because his Instagram isn’t active and he hasn’t posted since 2017,’ said her spokesperson.

‘Tulisa can now see he doesn’t use Instagram for herself too.’

In her first online post since leaving the Jungle, Young hitmaker Tulisa confessed to getting ‘overwhelmed quite easily’, saying: ‘I thought, do you know what, I really need to take a bit of time for me and just chill, and this is all feeling a little bit much at the moment.’

She went on: ‘I’m just going to archive all my stuff to do with the Jungle and then when the time is right and I’ve had a little time to process, I’m going to make my own Reels of all my best bits that I really like, because remember, I haven’t been doing my Instagram, the way that everything is posted and all the random stuff is not the way I do my Insta.’

Tulisa explained that now that she’s back in charge of her own account, she plans on making ‘one or two really good Reels’ with her personal highlights of the experience.

Having felt ‘bombarded’ with comments and messages about her time in camp, Tulisa said: ‘I’ve been out of the spotlight for a long time and I’m still trying to overcome those things.’

Tulisa outlined that she still has her ‘little demons’, but that doesn’t mean that she’s going to ‘go and hide back under a rock for another 10 years’.

The singer also expressed her gratitude towards ITV for being ‘really understanding’ and ‘patient’ with her as she ‘processes [her] thoughts’.

‘Mental health is important and I am super grateful for all the love and support I’ve had,’ she concluded.

Reps for Tulisa have been contacted for comment.

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! continues tonight at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
