Another day, another epic band with a newly announced tour and this time, it’s Guns N’ Roses who are heading on the road in 2025 with 24 shows across the UK and Europe.

However, there is a rather big catch as despite the many gigs across the continent there are only two UK shows – which are likely to sell out fast.

Only Birmingham and London have been revealed as stops on this tour so far, skipping over the usual likes of Manchester, Cardiff, and Edinburgh.

Guns N’ Roses do tour fairly regularly but with the recent ticket-buying stresses, fans may want to be extra prepared when trying to get tickets.

The icons rose to fame in the mid-80s with hits like Welcome to the Jungle and Paradise City, cementing their legacy with Sweet Child o’ Mine.

Guns N’ Roses currently consists of original members Axl Rose, Slash, and Duff McKagan, as well as Richard Fortus, Frank Ferrer, Dizzy Reed and Melissa Reese.

Both Rose and Slash will be joining the band on tour, despite personal issues in recent years, including the suden death of Slash’s stepdaughter.

‘‘My heart is permanently fractured. I will never ever stop missing you & remembering what a beacon of happiness, laughter, creativity & beauty you have always been. & still are,’ the guitarist wrote of the loss.

Last year, under the New York Adult Survivors Act, Rose was accused of assaulting model Sheila Kennedy in 1989, which he denied and the case was settled out of court.

The 2025 tour will kick off in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on May 23, 2025, before travelling through Turkey, Spain, Italy and Germany.

They will then arrive in the UK on Monday, June 23 for a gig at Birmingham’s Villa Park stadium; which has a capacity of 42,000.

On Thursday, June 26, the band will then head to Wembley Stadium in London (capacity 90,000) for one night only.

Each stop on their tour is fleeting with only one show per city, with most countries only getting one show total; France doesn’t even get a look in.

The dates for their two UK shows are a little unusual too as they have left both Friday and Saturday nights of Glastonbury weekend wide open before they head to Denmark on Sunday, June 29.

Usually, this is where a fan frenzy would kick off speculating the You Could Be Mine rockers are headlining – which is not completely out of the realm of possibility.

That being said, it was only in 2023 that Guns N’ Roses made their Pyramid Stage headliner debut at the historic festival alongside Arctic Monkeys and Sir Elton John.

It could be the band simply wants to attend the festival as punters so has avoided scheduling shows – that’s what we would do if we were major rock stars.
