The Strictly Come Dancing 2024 final is almost upon us, and the winner may have already been revealed.

After Pete Wicks became the 11th celebrity to be eliminated during Sunday night’s results show, we know that Tasha Ghouri and Alijaz Scorkjanec will be in the running for the glitterball trophy.

They’ll face tough competition with comedian Chris McCausland, Miranda actress Sarah Hadland and JLS singer JB Gill all making it to the final.

And with just days to go, Chris is leading the way as the bookies’ favourite to win the whole competition.

FreeBets.com have the comic as 1/9 to make history by winning Strictly as its first ever blind contestant.

However, he will be facing stiff competition from JB, whose odds have been slashed from 60/1 to just 16/1 after he received a perfect score of 40 on Saturday night.

Sarah Hadland was 6/1 but she’s now dropped to 20/1, with Tasha in fourth place at 33/1 after she found herself in the dance off this weekend.

A spokesperson for the bookies said: ‘JB Gill wowed the judges, including Craig Revel Horwood, after topping the leaderboard and is now 16/1 to win the show behind Chris McCausland who is the 1/9 favourite to lift this year’s Glitterball trophy.

‘Sarah Hadland is now 20/1, from 6/1, and Tasha Ghouri is 33/1 to win the show.’

The remaining four couples will take to the dance floor next weekend for the competition’s grand final where they will each perform three dances; their favourite dance of the series, the judge’s pick and a show dance.

Chris recently opened up about how despite viewers throwing their support behind him, he’s had to deal with some trolling.

‘For me with this there are two types of negativity. There are people who believe this is purely a dance competition and get angry when anybody survives a week above somebody, they think is better,’ he told Metro.

He pointed out that Pete Wicks ‘suffered’ with that too, but he insisted Tash should be the one taking home the Glitterball Trophy.

‘I think Pete has suffered a bit of that and so have I but if it was purely a dance competition give it to Tasha at the beginning – she’s phenomenal.’

The Strictly Come Dancing final airs live on BBC One on Saturday, December 14, at 6pm.
